piper
Need help connecting PC to laptop over wifi. Laptop is visible on Network but its asking for credentials and I don't have any, as no password is required to login. So both PC and laptop are connected to the same Wifi router? piper
I was talking about the WPS pin which is given in the Config page. @piper yes. So if they are both connected on the same Wifi network, how are you accessing the laptop from PC? By browsing My Network Connections, etc.? On your laptop, 1. Windows Key + R 2. Run "lusrmgr.msc" 3. On the left tab, click Users and you will see a list of the users on the laptop. 4. Windows Key + R 5. Run "cmd" 6. Run "ipconfig", note down the IP(v4) address at the top, should be something like 192.168.1.2 (could be different) One of those users is what you are using in order to access your laptop. May not have a password, but a username will exist. Use that username (and blank password) to access the laptop. If it doesn't work, then find out the name of laptop and input username as "LAPTOPNAME\username"
hussain
So I bought the ssd and it didn't come with any bracket and neither does my case have a bracket so right now if just kept it inside the case ... Is that ok? ... I have the n300 cooler master case ... I'd read that it hase space for an ssd ??
ALPHA17
^ I doubt the case comes with a converter kit but the SSD itself should have those. And using those you can put them in a 3.5" bay. And yes keeping it at the base of the chassis is cool. As the SSD does not have any moving parts. It will not be damaged. Also, just check on the sides if beside the 3.5" bays are there any cut out which look like they can support a fan, in that area there might be a 2.5" bay that you can use for your purposes. Mizanurification
Use a cable with one end L-shaped, like this : I connected one of my hdd with a straight end cable. What is that for?
ALPHA17
I connected one of my hdd with a straight end cable. What is that for? That is a standard SATA cable. L-shaped / angled connectors are for tight confines, lower clearances et al.
