ALPHA17
I currently have Corsair CMV4GX3M1A1333C9 which is a 1333 Mhz RAM can i add a Corsair CMV4GX3M1A1600C11 which is a 1600 Mhz RAM will it create a problem? Can i buy a Transcend 1333Mhz ram to go along with my Corsair one? Where will you purchase the RAM from? What is the rest of your configuration? Try to keep the brand same, avoid mixing modules from different brands / companies. In the spirit of the same avoid the Transcend module. ALPHA17
I have ESET Smart Security 7 with which i am completely satisfied. It is currently for around 480~ in FK and other sites with mobile security which i do not require anyways. Just before going ahead and buying the same, wanted to check if it is the right price to buy or will i find cheaper in online us stores etc. You can check up things in Reddit's trade section. But the price seems fair to me. Thinking of purchasing online, no time to visit lamington road. This.

The corsair 1600mhz ram will run but it will run on 1333mhz and not 1600 as your other ram is running on 1333
ALPHA17
I want to know that will there be any custom duty which he has to pay if the box is seal packed? Yes, if the box is a sealed unit he is liable to be charged. Tell him to break the seal and keep the package open. When asked for declaration he can state that he has brought it for personal use. This has a chance of reduced customs if not outright preventing them.

i_rock098
Any replacement guarantee in-case it is incompatible with your system? They are saying that they will send a new one if it is faulty, nothing mentioned about incompatibility, check this link, that link was from ebay mobile site sorry http://www.ebay.in/itm/Corsair-Value-select-DDR3-4-GB-1-x-4-GB-1600-MHZ-PC-RAM-CMV4GX3M1A1600C11-/171540974565?pt=IN_Computer_Components&hash=item27f0a38be5
ALPHA17
^ I would say, avoid, unless they will replace the component in-case of incompatibility.

Roger that, i am reading around in toms hardware too and almost everyone is unanimous in saying that the two sticks should be the exact same or it could cause problems. Also i opened the specification page of my motherboard and i think my MB does not even support 1600 Mhz RAM the spec sheet says DDR3 Memory DDR3 1066/1333

peaku
A simple question, what does 4k resolution and resolution means? what is the difference between 1600 x 900 and 3840 x 2160 ???
ALPHA17
A simple question, what does 4k resolution and resolution means? This is 4K resolution, 4K resolution, also called 4K2K, refers to a display device or content having horizontal resolution on the order of 4,000 pixels. 4K has become the common name for ultra high definition television (UHDTV), although its resolution is only 3840 x 2160 (at a 16:9, or 1.78:1 aspect ratio), which is lower than the 4K industry standard of 4096 x 2160 (at a 19:10 or 1.9:1 aspect ratio). Resolution, The display resolution of a digital television, computer monitor or display device is the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed. It can be an ambiguous term especially as the displayed resolution is controlled by different factors in cathode ray tube (CRT), flat-panel display which includes liquid-crystal displays, or projection displays using fixed picture-element (pixel) arrays. 1600 x900 and 3840 x2160 are display resolutions, the number of pixels that are on display. In both cases, the first number denotes the number of pixels horizontal and the second numeral denotes the number of pixels in the vertical axis of a display matrix. Both are 16:9 widescreen ratios, the former being an HD resolution and the latter a 4K resolution.
dylanjosh
A simple question, what does 4k resolution and resolution means? what is the difference between 1600 x 900 and 3840 x 2160 ??? In very simple language, it's the number of dots (called pixels) on your screen. Each pixel can only be of a single colour, so more pixels means more detail. So higher the number of pixels, the more clear the picture is. 800x600 means there are 800 pixels horizontally and 600 vertically. Same with 1280x900 or 1920x1080 etc etc. when someone says their display is 1080p they're talking about the vertical number ie 1920x1080
