PhantomShade
What makes an smps good or bad ... Cz I see 600w ones at 4k and all .. from cooler master ... ??There is engineering mumbo-jumbo about capacitor quality and sht.I never wrapped my head around all that. For ignorant apes like me "If its internals are made by Seasonic,Its good" Seasonic makes PSU's for Corsair,Antec and some other companies FYI Sent from my Asus Zenfone 5 using Tapatalk

ALPHA17
Ok so how is the cooler master thunder series ..?? sh*t. What makes an smps good or bad ... Cz I see 600w ones at 4k and all .. from cooler master ... ?? The basic design of the unit, who is the OEM, what components go into the unit et al. Generally Seasonic is king although their service in this country is terrible. Corsair used to be reliable and a blind recommendation from my side but no more. Antec has improved but again pretty much the same tale with after-sales. Cooler Master used to be sh*t although it is trying to rework its mid-range and high-end line, low-end products like Thunder are still a no-go for anyone expecting quality. After-sales is pretty much the best you can get after Corsair. Seasonic makes PSU's for Corsair,Antec and some other companies FYI No more for Corsair (at-least the mainstream units are all CWT), Antec too is CWT, Cooler Master high-end units have the latest KM3 design from Seasonic but their low end is still Seventeam who do not have much of a reputation. ganesan77
You still need to over-clock, a cabinet does not decide whether over-clocking is needed or no. Go for a Core i5 4690k ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 Mk. II / MSi Z97-Gaming7 Corsair H100i or Cooler Master Nepton 240M AIO cooler The Haswell-E is a waste of money in my opinion. I think both temperatures climb much higher than you can monitor them. Try to run the PC without any games / other heavy applications and see if it crashes still. The Haswell-E processor is going to be a waste of money. Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On for PS3/PS4/PC/Xbox One by ThrustMaster Video Game Only 13 left in stock (more on the way). ALPHA17
^ Okay, so in that case, look at a cheaper H97 chipset based motherboard instead of the Z97 one you currently have in the build.
