uberfragger
^ Are you the ADMIN and do you have any anti-virus / -malware on the PC? You might want to look into the following cases, do not format the PC. That should be the last ditch option. Thanks for the tip alpha, this issue started after installing bit defender anitvirus and yes iam logged in as the administrator Edited December 25, 2014 by uberfragger

Merry Christmas to everyone on this thread. 2015, Yup i read those MS articles and before trying the solutions mentioned there, i ran a bit defender scan, bitdefender found some trojans and removed them automatically, they were present in my old archiveed emails. After the scan the updates dont get turned off anymore
techboy
I am very excited to buy my first DDR4 RAM, I have not decided yet which one, but I am looking for the best. I have been suggested to go for Predator DDR4 RAM from Kingston, and after ruling out certain brands, thinking of buying predator, but I want to be very sure before making a purchase, and thus can someone please give me some feedback on Predator DDR4? Abdulah
Yup, if the display functions fine with a different cards. Then it is pretty much the card or the port on it at the very least. P.S. -- The SMPS is also rather shady, so would replace that too. Yeah GPU is dead , good thing i have warranty left and a backup GPU . Should i go directly to Aditya Infotech or contact MD computer ( from where i bought) ?
ALPHA17
^ Contact Aditya Infotech and they will ask you to deposit the card with M.D. who shall issue you a replacement card.
dylanjosh
I just want to say, stay clear of this mouse: Microsoft 100 http://www.flipkart.com/microsoft-optical-100-usb-2-0-mouse/p/itmdvav86sazxqdy?pid=ACCD7FG6JJ8YMHYE I bought this on 23rd August. After about 2 months it started giving problems. I was getting double clicks, sometimes no clicks etc. So I got it replaced. MS being MS, they replaced it no questions asked. Now guess what, even the replaced one is giving issues Placed an order for a Logitech Mouse.
otaku.u
how is intel g3258?any alternate at same price point? can anyone suggest a good mb with it? use only for browsing/movies/download rig. thank you
ALPHA17
^ I would suggest you go for an Intel NUC device if you do not want to game at all. The only additional cost would be the license of Windows you will have to pick up.
Aftrunner
The g3258 is perfect for those things. It will play even 4k stuff nicely. Has a pretty low power draw. And the stock fans on that Intel series are whisper quiet. Plus in future if you pair it with a very cheap GPU you can even play last gen games off it very nicely. nads
Guys m looking for a router for my office... Currently I have a linksys wrt120N at my home and it has served me very well for the last 4yrs... I need a similar router (or better) for my office it's a small office around 700 sqft with cabins... Need a router which is rock solid in maintening connection won't be streaming movies or anything so an N150 spec router would be sufficient... Budget is low but can throw upto 1500 if the features are future proof...

NitroNeo
This is regarding the PC i was making for my uncle, i hoped to make a mid-range gaming PC upto 50k so it would last longer considering how flash content makes a slower PC lag & playing HD videos either offline or online without a graphic card also leads to lag & stuttering. Since he has cameras which shoot HD video. And they'll end up lagging without a GPU is my guess since i seen it happen on a couple of PCs.But now the budget is just 30K with no room to stretch. Salvagable parts from the old PC are just keyboard, mouse & speakers. Here are the components,AMD FX-4300 or Intel i3 2120 Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard for the intel processor. Gunning for a GIGABYTE HD 7750 2GB GPU [ Pci-E 3.0] Confused between Seasonic S12II 520 & Corsair VS650 does the 650 voltage benefit in some way, i do plan on installing softwares like photoshop on that PC. But here are the problems,- i2120 is sandy bridge. The Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H states [* To support DDR3 1600 MHz, you must install an Intel® 22nm (Ivy Bridge) CPU that supports DDR3 1600 MHz]- I also read somewhere that sandy bridge does not support PCi-E 3.0 cards] - None of the boards supported for FX-4300 have support for 1600 Mhz DDR3 ram except MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard but i am reading negative feedback for the board. It felt nice that the board had usb 3 support though.- Fx-4300 & it's supported boards of am3+ socket seem to have only PCi-E 2.0 support & i don't see any good 2.0 cards rivaling 7750. Help me out, Thanks
Big Boss
There is no real world performance hit of using a pcei 3.0 card in pcei 2.0 slot. They are backward compatible and it shouldn't factor in your purchase decision at all.
NitroNeo
There is no real world performance hit of using a pcei 3.0 card in pcei 2.0 slot. They are backward compatible and it shouldn't factor in your purchase decision at all. Well this solves the amd issue to some extent. Still amd am3+ boards don't support 1600mhz ram, they only support the OC 1600 ram. I don't know anything about OC so i wanna stay away from that. The problem is i want 1600 mhz ram instead of 1333 mhz since there is only a rs.500 difference between them. I also need a good board for fx-4300 with possible usb 3 ports & an onboard display. If you guys think my setup is going to derail then please help me with components for a Rs.30k build. It should be handle HD content & yes i need to fit a good 18.5 inch monitor with good viewing angles in that budget
Big Boss
I say stick to 1333 MHz as for 1600 MHz you will need a better mobo and proccy.
