ALPHA17
need a gpu that runs most games at 1366*768 resolution at low to medium settings at decent fps... budget 8 - 9 k inr..(games like gta v, saints row 4, fc4, cod) rest system-(i5 old, 8gig ram) Extend your budget and get the GTX950. The GTX750Ti is past that curve and nothing from AMD holds a candle to the former.

Star Lord
I just started FIFA 16 and suddenly the menu went slo-mo checked temp. and my GPU is overheating all of a sudden..how to fix it?
ALPHA17
^ Ventilate the GPU, also, set-up a custom fan curve using an application like MSi's Afterburner. So that the fans at the cost of being a little noisy at-least keep the temperatures within control.
Keano
Ordered this mouse and this Keyboard. Amazon delivered them in less than 15 hours Thank you Alpha, Spearhead I would also need some help with a full PC build in near future. Jerush
My pc overheats and shuts down when gaming. Hardly lasts for an hour unless AC is switched on. Both CPU and GPU reach temps around 80 Config: AMD FX 8350 AMD Radeon R9 280X Corsair Vengence DDR3 4GB x2 Seasonic S12G 750W Cooler Master K281 (with 3 fans: front and side - intake, rear - exhaust) Can someone suggest me a good case under 10K? Looks don't matter. Just want a case that can cool the system So far I've come up with 3 choices Nzxt phantom 410 Corsair Carbide 500R HAF 912 combat Also, do i've to install any liquid coolers? I don't plan to overclock at all Edited November 6, 2015 by Jerush
ALPHA17
^ Go for the Corsair Carbide 400R. Alternately you can look at the NZXT Source 530. Also, as I told Archit, monitor your fan curves and tweak them to perform more aggressively to prevent overheating. In-fact try changing your fan curves (in the UEFI / BIOS) first before investing in a chassis.

I don't plan to overclock at all Get a good case like alpha said, it should have a 165+mm cpu cooler support. And 240mm radiator support to be future proof. You have a 10k budget so buy a air cooler like noctua u12s or u14s whatever that fits your budget or at the very least go for Cooler master hyper 212x. For liquid coolers go for corsair h60i or h80i. Manage budget properly, the stock cpu coolers are not much effective. Edit - if you go for a air cooler you need to check if you can fit it because the size of your ram may interfere or the air cooler might touch your graphic card. The gfx card thing depends on space provided by mobo. Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk Edited November 6, 2015 by NitroNeo

PhantomShade
Any overheating or other issues apart from the price diff?? no overheating. altough there is a 300mhz-400mhz speed difference, thats about it.
HotSonix
no overheating. altough there is a 300mhz-400mhz speed difference, thats about it. Acha but with overclock we can get a speed bump around 4.3-4.4 na ?? How much do you overclock??

Yes you can get that much off a bump, but OC's depend upon individual cpu's really I haven't OC'ed yet Zaroorat hi nahi padi abhi tak
ALPHA17
How to adjust a custom fan curve bro? BTW is this a sign of my GPU dying? Here, follow this guide. This is no sign unless your display is getting corrupted and you have ruled out all other possibilities. Acha but with overclock we can get a speed bump around 4.3-4.4 na ?? How much do you overclock?? Depends, on your luck with the silicon how stable your processor is at that clock speed how efficient your cooling is, ties into Point 2 You will have to over-clock in increments (maybe a ~25MHz step-up) and continuously keep testing the stability of the processor by running games or benchmark applications to stress it. 4.4k case +2k fans+3.5k AIO cooler =10k Just adding fans to the mix would not suffice and neither of your suggested chassis is deep enough to accommodate the Hyper 212X comfortably. Damn will go for 4460 then ,no headache. Will upgrade to 5th gen when it arrives Also mate do you think buying from ebay is safe for processors ?? btw why would he need a air cooler when he is using a liquid cooler which is much more effective in cooling.?? Also looks better for showing off Edited November 6, 2015 by CyberBuzzKill

Also looks better for showing off [emoji14] There are no 5th gen i5 or i3 procs. The current is 6th gen but i'd suggest you wait until DDR4 compatibility is sorted properly. Air coolers by noctua can be silent as ninjas. If you don't have lights on pc switches/components you wont be able to tell if it's on or not. Some liquid coolers tend to start making noise after some time or as i seen on youtube under load like the prime95 test. For overclocking though at higher speeds like 4.5 Ghz and above only high performance coolers should be used.
