Kazekage Gaara
CPU temperature @ 93 degree celcius while gaming. I5 4440. Is it high risk? COuld it be causing the stutter during games? I have the same CPU (4440) and a GTX 970 and my CPU temps NEVER go above 67 even at MAX LOAD and this is on the shitty stock Intel cooler it came with. By the way, 93 is considered DANGEROUS, so yeah, check your cooler or thermal paste or BOTH. If it's time to change the cooler, then get a decent cooler and not the stock Intel one. They're sh*t coolers. Edit: By the way, my cabinet has good airflow with two fans SUCKING IN cool air and two fans SUCKING THE HOT AIR OUT! And then there's the PSU fan also Edited January 14, 2016 by Kazekage Gaara
kmkaks
^ My cabinet can not be the problem because Graphics card temps never exceed 75. Hard Disks Max 39 degrees. Cooler fan is spinning fine. PSU has 120 mm fan. I have only One fan in the back. Cables are fine and PC is generally well dusted. SO yeah I think it should be the thermal paste only. I just tried touching the heat sink immediately after switching off the pc and I did not catch a burn.lol. SO that means heat is not sinking right? It should be thermal paste....... I guess I have to apply thermal paste. Can I do that myself? Is it risky or something? Wil la 200 rupee paste suffice?
ALPHA17
^ The temperature on that card is high. Heat-sinks tend to get hot over time. Check after half-hour of running, you will never catch a burn with them, they are not an immersion rod. I would suggest you invest in half-decent thermal paste and get this one. Of course you can apply it yourself, just follow this guide. For cleaning the residue and old thermal paste material, use rubbing alcohol or surgical spirits that you can get from your local chemist. Kazekage Gaara
^ And use lint-free cloth while using the rubbing alcohol/surgical spirit to remove the old thermal paste. Don't use cotton

kmkaks
^ I got the cooler master Thermal Paste and applied it. Now temps are more stable, running at 39 degree at idle and 55 degree at 75% load. Good right? Thank You for your support once again IVG'ans.

ALPHA17
^ The MK345 looks good just that it has a glossy plastic finish which might attract oil marks and fingerprints.
