MSI GTX 980 Ti costs only 54K... Is the site reliable? If so, I will buy it from there.

Yes, it is based in Kolkata and also reliable according to some forum guys from Kolkata but...

Make no sense to upgrade GTX 980Ti when you already have GTX 970. You are better of getting 2nd 970 instead, and save almost half of the spending budget.

...agreed with what he ^ said. You may SLI the GTX 970 but I'm not sure if your processor (i5 4440?) would be able to handle it without bottlenecking. Why not just continue using the single GTX 970 and wait for Pascal/Polaris?

At what price should i buy zotac 760 amp edition with 3 months warranty left.Any suggestions please.

Don't.

It is 1 year and 9 months old.And also has the warranty email with ticket.

So can i claim 3 years extended warranty?

And if it has 3 years and 3 months warranty then how much for it?

I doubt the extended warranty part. Do you have the email confirmation of the extended warranty registration? You need a registration as well as confirmation.

@alpha17 check PM and reply please.

Dude dont confuse him

I can personally vouch for the shop

I have brought various items from cpu to rams by going personally to their store or get it home delivered. Most amazing part is I usually pester them for hours before buying a single item and they never get angry or answer rudely

They even have special pricing for Kolkata people :)

Shop is 100% genuine

^you originally said 3 months warranty left hence recommended against it. Dunno about the price but I doubt that he will accept 7k though that would be a good deal IF the card does have extended warranty.

@SnipeUfool didn't know that some replies had already been posted. Didn't see the newest page. >_>

i've got a HP Pavillion G6-2231 tx laptop. Its nearly three years old. All of sudden , It isn't able to run for more than 10 mins without charging and shows the following message onscreen on start

' HP battery Alert

The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery needs to be replaced

Primary (Internal) Battery (001)

Enter - Continue startup'

Does anyone have any clue as to why and how this problem occurred?

Obviously will have to get a new battery- How do i proceed though?

Should i contact HP or get it fixed at a local PC/laptop repair shop?

There is no need to get anything fixed. You can buy the new battery and change it yourself. It's pretty easy. Why pay someone extra money to do such a trivial task.

You can either buy it online from a reputed online store like Amazon (make sure it's Amazon fulfilled) or visit your nearest HP Store and simply buy it from them. This will ensure you get an original battery :)

Got the Zotac gtx 970 today. [emoji5] [emoji4]

But I do not have the game code that comes along with the purchase. Got it from a local retailer so do I need to get in touch with their customer support?

^Done. Is it available only through certain retailers. I got it from a local retailer. Well my budget was strictly around 26k so that leaves out Asus,MSI and others.

Bad choice though ZOTAC is the last manufacturer you could have gone for 970

I have a Zotac 970, I got Batman AK and Witcher 3 with it, been almost a year the card works flawlessly, overclocks great, idles at 33C, runs cool at 69C even under heavy load.

Sure you don't have the fancy back-plate and features like the Asus Strix version but at least there's no coil whine. Have had virtually no issues at all, Oh and 5 years warranty out of the gate for under 25k.

Don't see the point of paying 30k+ for the same card from premium rebadgers.

You should get Rise of the Tomb Raider for free - https://www.zotac.com/page/rise-of-the-tomb-raider
Go to this page and fill out all the info - https://redeem.geforce.com/en-in/invoice-information
Also email Yogesh Nagdev at Nivida, he's very helpful - ynagdev@nvidia.com

Hmm.. Did some more research and finally bought the tp-link 300mbps one which you suggested.. Also there was a small offer on it today..

There was a d-link AC router for 1.8k but read that there will be 2 wireless signals for it.. one in 2.4GHz band and other in 5GHz band.. Combined speed will be around 750mbps theoretically.. But reviews were not too great for it..

I'm mainly concerned with the data transfer speed over wi-fi.. Since if I stream a 1080p movie from laptop/tablet/pc to my TV via chromecast, I don't want any lag..

Lets see how it goes..

^ Please keep me posted and fingers crossed.

Final verdict - Signal strength is decent.. Covers a 2BHK with good signal strength.. File transfer speed over WiFi is around 2.5-3 MBPS which is not too great, its more or less same as in case of a 150mbps router.. And full hd content streaming using Plex to chromecast works great without any lags.. If only the file transfer speed would have been a bit faster around 6-7MBPS..

^ Can you go into Windows Log and check what error it shows up around the time your card stops outputting display.

Also, during this time, does your PC shut-down as well or only the display out is affected?

pc seems to be working, only display is affected.

I'll check the logs tonight it happened yesterday. I think it could be the hdmi wire I kept in a certain position since then there weren't any crashes. but tbh

, it's so random that I can't say that's the cause

If you have a vga/dvi cable lying around, you can always check with that to rule out cable problems..
Also sometimes nvidia driver crashes with a message something like "Display driver has stopped responding" and the display goes off... Happened to me some time back and was resolved by updating the drivers n a little bit of cleaning the graphics card itself..
