If you have a vga/dvi cable lying around, you can always check with that to rule out cable problems..

Also sometimes nvidia driver crashes with a message something like "Display driver has stopped responding" and the display goes off... Happened to me some time back and was resolved by updating the drivers n a little bit of cleaning the graphics card itself..

Cable checking will be a headache, the pc is present is one room and a 50ft hdmi cable connects to the tv in another room. Might have to shift the PC for testing this weekend then, if it's the cable problem

I have a Zotac 970, I got Batman AK and Witcher 3 with it, been almost a year the card works flawlessly, overclocks great, idles at 33C, runs cool at 69C even under heavy load.

Sure you don't have the fancy back-plate and features like the Asus Strix version but at least there's no coil whine. Have had virtually no issues at all, Oh and 5 years warranty out of the gate for under 25k.

Don't see the point of paying 30k+ for the same card from premium rebadgers.

You should get Rise of the Tomb Raider for free - https://www.zotac.com/page/rise-of-the-tomb-raider
Go to this page and fill out all the info - https://redeem.geforce.com/en-in/invoice-information
Also email Yogesh Nagdev at Nivida, he's very helpful - ynagdev@nvidia.com

There was just 1k price difference when I got between Zotac asus and Msi was 1.5k more but not available, Zotac runs hotter ok cooling

What's your current PSU?

Why CM cabinets? Sure, they are very good. But you can get little more fancy. Given it won't be an issue for you.

Fractal Design, NZXT (H444 is sexy), Corsair (love the carbide ones; you'll need lot of space though), etc,.

Which one have you selected on CM? Oh, and, congrats. iYYHGqW.gif

Thanks, Joe! My current PSU is Seasonic S12II Bronze 520W (thought it was M12II all these days). I'm now going for M12II 620. Regarding the cabinets, I was suggested to buy Cooler Master N200, but now since I can extend my budget up to 8K (INR), I'm searching for the right ones. Any advice is appreciated! :)

^ No. Fractal Design products are not available in India.

Get a MasterCase 5, latest and greatest from the Cooler Master stables and you can upgrade the chassis as you see fit later.

This one looks good to me. What do you guys say?

Poor hard-drive space.

^ That is going to be expensive. I will definitely place it in that price bracket, if not higher.

You can also look at the NZXT Source 530 chassis if you are interested.

NZXT Source 530 is out of my budget whereas 350D seems to cost only 7K on MD Computers. It'll also save me few bucks. Shall I go for it?
