I have a computer with Crosair 450 VS Power Supply. Crosair Vengence 8 GB Ram 1600 Hz, I5 4400 Processor and Asus Strix 960 GTX Graphics Card.

My Computer is shutting down abruptly during gaming like BattleField or NFS.

I performed OCCT Test on my machine

CPU was tested for one hour it passed No Error was reported

GPU Test at 1920x1280 Failed immediately as soon as the test was started

GPU Test at 1280x1080 one hour it passed No Error was reported

Power Supply Test at 1920x1280 failed immediately as soon as the test was started

Power Supply Test at 1280x1080 failed immediately as soon as the test was started

During all the failure of the system was restarted so there is no error log by the OCCT test application

I have disabled my sound cards only the Realtek sound Card is active

I am using spike strip to power my system.

I am not able to debug the problem.

I checked event viewer it said Source as Kernel Power Error and Event ID 41

Please help

Thanks in advance

Change that PSU of yours.

Also, moving and merging thread into appropriate section.

PSU seems faulty.

Just to be sure, can you try GPU in another decent system?

But most likely PSU is at fault and I would recommend not running the PC like this anymore.

@soumyablacklist change the PSU.

your GPU is at fault, take it the nearest authorized service center. I have also doubt at your power supply, the Corsair VS is infamous

PSU, and not the GPU, is clearly the problem here.

Either gpu or power supply

Isn't 450w too low for your system ??

Actually 450w is enough. No overclocking took place. But number isn't everything. Simply put, the VS450 is not able to supply more than the bare-minimum. This is why the Corsair VS series is not recommended. I don't remember where but I read somewhere that the VS450W is able to provide only around 250-270W at load.

Admittedly I also have the same psu but on a very basic Pentium PC and don't use a gpu either. I bought the PSU anyway because of budget issue (it was used one so got it for a low price) and keeping that 270w in mind.

+1 to stop using that PSU. Its not worth the risk.

I got a new fiber net connection. The fiber net modem doesn't have any options for NAT or DMZ or port forwarding. So, I'm unable to play online on PS4, getting the error 'NAT failed'.

Any assistance? Any alternatives?

NAT settings or DMZ to be done on router. If you have a router try to put an IP on DMZ.

have set up both port forwarding and DMZ on the dlink router.. still getting the same issue

What error are you getting exactly. Is it the router displaying error or you have setup but after testing the network test fails?

Did you use any pirated copy of any software or patches? That website is maybe linked to the piracy related website. That website is may have installed a script in the app such that when you use the patch it hijacks your browser to show their website. Use Malwarebytes and remove the app mentioned by malwarebytes. The reload.vbs also seems like a script trying to start. Do you have a antivirus

Also delete your host file from c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

And download a original host file. You can get that host file from Microsoft. Just search default host file for Windows. And download from Microsoft website only.
