djanuj
Guys. Wanted to ask how is P8000 mobile phone? I saw elephone website and found that it costs 230$ to buy plus custom duty which comes to 15000 approx. In India there is this brand called iBerry Auxus. I had their ST1 Stunner phone which sucked. Their support was also initially bad but after few legal threats fixed the hardware issue of ST1. Now I sold this phone but wanted to buy auxus p8000. The review of the phone is really good. It is a rebranded phone with warranty compared to original elephone phone without warranty. Plus the Indian one I am getting for 10990. Also I have heard P8000 is pre rooted. So should I go for that or buy another phone? I need a phone with good specs and p8000 has great specs. Saw P9000 as well but not available in India. Please let me know. Charge time: Fully charges eneloop AA batteries in approximately 7 hours, AAA in approximately 6 hours. It is rechargeable up to 500x. They come factory charged with a solar charged. However, over time it slightly reduces. Also, don't use quick chargers. It'll only reduce the life of the batteries. Go with standard or eneloop chargers. djanuj
Guys what about that mobile query of mine? Please help? Is any phone available with snapdragon 820 and 3gb ram for less than 12k? Edited July 13, 2016 by djanuj
Heaven Angel
Try posting it on mobile thread instead?
ALPHA17
^ This is not the appropriate section for this query. Mobile phones and Android phones have dedicated threads in General Chatter. P.S. -- Just to answer that query, no phone with a SnapDragon 820 will be that cheap.

ALPHA17
^ Good luck finding that graphic card in stock anywhere. And if you do, be ready to be scalped. Also, if you plan to game 4K, don't. Rather get a 1440p monitor with ultra-high refresh rate than spend on 4K.
SonicDave
Has anyone owned or used 4G USB modems (data cards)? Need one. Recommendation please. I don't want any speed limitation. I assume there will be little or no difference between the many USB modems out there since many are just rebrands. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. edit: typo and clarity. You have to put their sim card. It works good but has limitations. Like not truly unlimited plan. The speed is around 4mbps. Also you can unlock that modem unofficially to allow other providers sim card too. Edited July 17, 2016 by djanuj
ALPHA17
Check this out @Amazon. Huawei and ZTE have pretty much cornered the market.
djanuj
I was talking about this. I have this model. http://www.amazon.in/Huawei-E5573-Airtel-4G-Lte-White/dp/B013PU5SN0
Kazekage Gaara
After reading the posts here, I was pretty sure I saw a TP-Link 4G router/wifi thingie and then I looked it up. http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/list-4691.html I don't know whether this helps with what you're looking for, but TP Link is definitely better than those Chinese companies, Huawei or ZTE. TP-Link products are pretty good and they usually come with three years of warranty, which is just fantastic. Hope this helps Edit: Maybe am off track with this. I don't know. Today hasn't really been a good day, so far Edited July 17, 2016 by Kazekage Gaara

Today hasn't really been a good day, so far TP link product sucks. I have a wifi router which also has 4g usb support. However the router hardly works. WiFi is fine. 4G I am talking about. Even though they support 4g. My reliance 4g dongle never worked.

I haven't used any of their their 4G supported products but me and my friends have their regular routers and they've been working solid for years. That's why I recommended it. Sorry for that. Maybe I should've checked out a few reviews and then recommended. Like I said, been having a pretty bad day. Really appreciate the input though
Kazekage Gaara
Sorry for the double post. Stupid broadband Edited July 17, 2016 by Kazekage Gaara
Heaven Angel
It all depends on which one you buy. The low end ones don't perform well because that's how they are designed and costs less. Example: TP-LINK Archer C9 / Archer C7 / WDR3600, etc, are very good.
