ALPHA17
^ It should work, technically. You should get in touch with the CC and technical team of ASUS for a final clarification. About the device itself, what GPU do you plan to put inside there?

About the device itself, what GPU do you plan to put inside there? GTX 1070/1080 or maybe GTX 980 temp as I have already be spending a lot. BTW spoke to ASUS but they said to use their own amplifier system. However looking at the product page it doesn't support my laptop. When I asked them they said they don't know. Will get back to me with this query.
djanuj
They also told me they are releasing new product ROG XG Station 2 but not sure if it will support my laptop
NitroNeo
[see attached pic] I am having trouble with the white front speaker port on my creative sbs 560 speakers set, any speaker i connect on this particular port loses sound, i got it working for a few seconds but then again sound is lost. Is the port dead ? If yes as you can see there are 2 rear speaker ports and a center speaker, so can i use any software tweaks to use either of them to perform like a second front speaker ? The red front speaker port works fine. The audio softwares installed on my pc are, Asus ROG Sonic Studio 2 & ROG Supreme FX [Realtek HD Audio Manager]. I love this speakers and want to keep using them as much as i can.
Kazekage Gaara
If you have a friend who's good with electronics, maybe you can ask him to take a look. Am pretty sure it's just a small "disconnect" from the other side of the panel, which needs a soldering maybe?
SonicDave
Does anyone here have the Corsair AF120 "Quiet" edition fans? How is it? And could you post some pics of the fan LEDs while ON? I'd like to see the real world pictures. and oh how much did you pay for it? http://www.corsair.com/en-in/air-series-af120-quiet-edition-high-airflow-120mm-fan-twin-pack
NitroNeo
IDK if it's because of the recent DDOS attack, but something called maito started to run on my pc it opened multiple blank chrome tabs. Or did this happen because i used a Logitech z313 set on 5.1 settings in the realtek audio manager with subwoofer, center, front speakers checked along with surround speakers settings for the front and enable bass management checked. I ask this since i read somewhere for these speakers that putting 2.1 speakers on 5.1 causes a pc to go haywire. But then the realtek manager did not have a 2.1 option. SonicDave
Okay powerusers, I'm back with another problem.I need a reliable converter to convert PageMaker 7 files to PDF without any issue. The PageMaker files are basically newspapers draft with tons of texts and images.Softwares which I know of (via mostly a tdf thread):pdf995: link no longer works. file unavailable.primopdf: can convert only texts.novapdf: still trying.others: file is not available or do not work.can even go for paid softwares if it works perfectly.thanks.One of our "competitors" have a software for this since they are able to regularly upload the files but are unwilling to share. Edit: preferably an affordable non-Adobe software. At a monthly subscription fee of over 1000rs they aren't viable for us right now.Edit 2: SOLVED. Used Foxit reader. ALPHA17
^ If that is a brand new PC, who assembled it? If it was done in the shop, that is just the thermal pad from the bottom of the heat-sink.

Ok, I'm probably a freaking idiot for not mentioning this but the guy who assembles the PCs there did actually test the motherboard and the CPU in the shop and so he did put the heat sink on it, so that is ok if its from his heat sink? djanuj
I see a "Windows.old folder in my OS drive..What is that and can i delete that..?That folder is after you have upgraded from win 8/8.1. Its a restore point folder which is valid for 60 days I think. In case you don't like win 10 you can revert back with that folder Edited August 3, 2016 by djanuj
