ALPHA17
^ That health bar should tell you pretty much everything, there is S.M.A.R.T. tab up there, click on it.
Mr.HaPPineSS
Yeah, noticed it Why is data not being shown for my other hdd? could that also be in trouble? Should I gamble on removing just that 500gigs hdd from the cpu and try booting the pc? Would I loose data if I do so? Do not power up the 500GB hard-drive (disconnect it from SATA / power connector). No disconnecting the hard-drive does not lose data on this. Only if the physical platter is damaged or the controller of the same is damaged would you stand a risk of losing data. I would suggest you look into backing up that data and get a replacement drive (through warranty or elsewise). Hope this helps. Cheers! Or maybe 2015. The 500gb dates back to some 6-7years back. So I ll just unplug the 500gb drive and try to boot and see if the pc is running normal right? ALPHA17
^ Yes. Okay, so the 1TB hard-drive is newer, which brand?
Mr.HaPPineSS
^ Yes. Okay, so the 1TB hard-drive is newer, which brand? Its wb if I am not wrong. Also I see that the older disk files are getting copied faster. But the newer ones are getting copied too slow. Mr.HaPPineSS
This is the final output Any helps on recovering data from the 1tb? That is the only reason which is slowing down the pc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
ALPHA17
Both your Seagate drives seem to be in very poor shape, recover all important data off them and get replacement storage units. Also I see that the older disk files are getting copied faster. But the newer ones are getting copied too slow. This makes no sense. Are you saying copying content from older to newer disk is faster or vice-versa?

The hdd sentinal showed health of newer one to be zero with a red circle and X in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The wd is the external hdd. Wd elements. Both seagate drives have gone past there warranty period. Any suggestions on which one to buy? Which has a good life and warranty period. 2tb hdd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
ALPHA17
I would suggest you go for Western Digital 1TB Blue and a spare 1TB Western Digital Green for data dump needs. Both carry two years of warranty.
mohit9206
No need to guess prices as cpu don't attract huge tax so R5 1400 - 12k R5 1500x - 13k R5 1600 - 15k R5 1600X - 17k Actually the official prices were already announced on 16th march. R5 1400 -12.2k R5 1500X - 13.8k R5 1600 - 15.8k R5 1600X - 18.2k Do you think indian pricing is good? I think its slightly overpriced.I think the main selling point of Zen was its value for money versus Intel. With these prices tell me one good reason why any gamer would choose 1600/1600X when i5-6600k and 7600k are better choices for gaming? Only R5 1400 is a good value. Edited March 19, 2017 by mohit9206

Also, if you are so concerned about value, what is the cost of getting an unlocked Intel CPU + compatible board and all paraphernalia on Intel's side and AMD's side, compare that as well.

Abdulah
I got a msi 1060 6GB today . Installed it along with my old psu corsair vs 450 (just for testing till i get a new PSU) . Computer booted , run for about 4-5 minute before getting the message "The monitor is going to sleep , there is no input source" . I tried with a different Vs 450 which if fairly new (I got two of these ) and monitor refuses to display the window screen . Sometime it display for 3-4 sec (window 10 logo) and then goes to sleep , sometime it doesn't display anything at all . Computer run fines without graphic card and with a different cable (VGA) . This problem also occured to my previous GPU amd 7850 . So what exactly is the problem ? Are both of my GPU dead , or some other component is messing with it . It could be that to protect the computer from damage it shuts down itself. Another issue might be insufficient power supply. But that is far fetched. Because usually 500w is enough for gtx 1060 but also depends on cpu. Do you have old cpu? Edited March 21, 2017 by djanuj

CPU temperature is fine . Just a few seconds ago , computer booted successfully till i shutdown . I suspect that my motherboard PCI-E slot is the cause .
