avanildutta
Hello guys.. So i have a Railwire fibre connection that is connected to Tplink Archer C20 router through which my gaming desktop pc is connected via lan, 2 lappys via wifi, htpc via wifi adapter, my consoles i.e Xbone & PS4 over wifi.Upon checking my NAT type is Type 3 ie restricted one which is real bad for online gaming on my consoles. Recently my isp even assigned me a static ip. Still no luck its stuck to NAT type 3.. Went through youtube videos, Googled, went to portforward.com, port forwarded the required ps4 ports, did some DMZ settings. But all in vain. Can anyone help. How to change it to atleast Type 2.. Any help will be very much appreciated.Attaching some screenshots of Ps4 network settings & router settings..Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

pixeljunkie
@avanildutta First, correct your Secondary DNS. It should be 8.8.4.4. Include a layout of your home network for members to analyse.

pixeljunkie
With a little research on the internet, you should've figured it out by now. First, describe the physical layout of your network.

It should work.

HEMAN
Also I suggest you to use dns provided by the Isp at least for gaming and streaming videos

Can vouch for that on AirTel and MTNL at least.

Yes but in this case it isnt. Railwjre works a bit different comlared to other Isp. They have normal plans and SME. What @avanildutta needs for nat 2 is Sme bjt they are expensive. @avanildutta contact support on phone for your region and tell them you want nat type 2 for ps4 and they will do it for you.

But I still think NAT is the reason for type
