So, costs of all PC parts have gone up. Does anyone have any indication of when they might come down? Or is this a pandemic related problem that will.. just go on...?

Expect a price drop in RTX 2000 series cards and Ryzen 3xxx processors after some months as RTX 3000 series has launched and Ryzen 4xxx processor will be revealed on October.

I don't know about other PC parts as still no vaccines/cure found for COVID-19. Consider the India-China feud too...

Jumped on a black friday deal. Didn't know if non-x vesion would go on sale or how cheap.

Same reason I bought it. Just wanted something that would work. Seemed the most reliable.

I usually get ASUS stuff. Even my current motherboard is ASUS and never had any issue. So yours failing twice sucks.

I'll check on MSI further I guess. Thanks. ?

The Intel boards are stupid expensive. So thinking to try AMD first time.

Anyone here using Ryzen 3600? If so, what motherboard are you on?

The Asrock B450 Pro4 ATX mobo has very good VRMs with OC support. It is also under 10k

If you want to futureproof PC, get Aorus B550 Pro

I don't have a PC with 3600, but the motherboard is one of the best B450 motherboards in the market

3600 with Gigabyte Aorus Pro x570.

x570 for future proof. Zen 3 support without going through BIOS update. Unless you plan to change CPU after couple of years, it is overkill.

PCIe 4.0 performance still not makes it worth either.

Using 3600 on AsRock Steel Legend B450M. So far no complaints.

What is the rest of your build?

I forgot about the cooler. Heard AMD still gets quite hot. I'm still siding with NH-D15.

Any reason for this? X570 feels like overkill to me

I bought it at Zen 3 launch. B450 boards were not compatible out of the box back then. I decided to future proof it a bit so that I can swap out the 3xxx series for a 47xx a couple of years down the line.

As far as the rest of build is concerned,

- 8x2GB Gskill TridentZ 3000Mhz overclocked to 3200

- Samsung Evo 860 512GB SATA SSD

- Gigabyte RTX 2070S Windforce

- Antec EAG 650W Gold PSU

- CM Hyper 212x Black cooler

- Seagate 2TB 7200 HDD

- CM Master Pro L white CherryMX brown mech board

- Logitech G102

- 2 x Acer Nitro VG271U 1440p 144Hz monitor

@Joe Cool Making a new PC build?

Undecided still. Juggling between parts till GPU is back in stock.

Lots of cool builds these days.

Love it but thermals probably not good or last longer. They also pack it with their PSU and AIO which I don't need either. Waste of $200.

My current case is full tower and huge compared to the cases I see these days. NZXT most common but also feels well priced while maintaining quality and aesthetics.

No longer available. ?

For now leaning towards H510i/H510.

If alpha were here he would have :nono: citing lack of front facing mesh.

If fractal meshify C is available, then I would recommend that one instead...

Meshify was my first choice but it was Out Of Stock everwhere when I was buying. So in the end also settled for NZXT H510i. I do love it but yeah I wish it had a front mesh.

Feel like its more of a cabinet meant for AIO anyway.
