somu
I'm new to Bangalore, just relocating here for work with my wife. Looking for a rented accommodation, will prefer if the rent < 20K per month. Looking to get a place where ACT broadband has good service. My work location will be near Dairy Circle, Bannerghatta Road. I have the facility of work from home (but not looking to stay too far). Thanks. egg man
Kormangala is the best, I'm not sure about ACT there.Indiranagar won't be a bad choice either , and ACT works there for sure.

Koramangala would be best, but not sure of the rent in that area. I work in same area as you and I stay near Meenakshi mall. Rent here is within range, but depending on office timings the commute can be tiring.
silentassassin
I was always thought people rent a house and look for service provider... First time i'm seeing someone who wants to rent a house to get internet from a particular service provider Kormangala , JP Nagar , HSR Layout and BTM would be ideal for you..closer to work...Good locality as well.. You should get a 2 BHK house within 20k in these areas..
piper
@OP : If you don't mind non-apartment/flats/society type of accomodation (e.g. you get 2BHK as one floor of a private home) then HSR is your best bet. Excellent connectivity and not far from Dairy circle. Which company, btw?

somu
Again. thanks a LOT guys for your suggestions. Just found out that only my joining location is at OTP. My team sits at Kalyani Magnum office, but that is also at Bannerghatta road itself. I will be looking at all these places at common floor etc. Really appreciate all the help. The Wolfy among us
Also if you work near dairy circle a house in BTM is better. Lots of shortcuts to reach oracle without encountering a single signal.

Then you have option of Bannerghatta Road (Arekere, Hulimavu areas), BTM, JP nagar. Kalyani Magnum is merely 4km from my place, and I know shortcuts to it as well. How I wish it was my work location...
