^Don't think so. Colleague bought silver one from their site, looks superb.

What do you guys do with several GBs of ram and Octa cores anyway?
My A3 is quad core with 1 gb ram and runs almost all apps fine.

If we are getting better hardware at cheaper rate, then why not?

Anyways MIUI needs extra RAM. OS has so many many useful and nifty features, that it's quite heavy.

I used to flash MIUI always, be it Galaxy S2 or Nexus 4. Now I can't imagine a phone without MIUI.

MIUI 8 looks even superb, can't wait for stable version to release in August.

Also, faster processor also has better architecture, and can do same tasks without much stress. This in turn helps in battery life and heat generation.

I need to replace my dying LG Optimus G Pro (served 3 long years), is the camera quality of the Redmi Note 3 comparable to a Samsung Note 3??

Camera is the weakest aspect of Note 3.

Mi4i which was released last year has much better camera.

Hell No

It says 16mp but clicks photo as 8mp and in low light 2mp :P

Ouch..those shots look so bad!

Redmi Note 3 is out of the question then, have to look for other alternatives with better camera within 18K bracket, preferably with the snap 650/652 chipset.

Well look for Moto G versions then, but they come with shitty 61x processors. I heard Moto G4 camera is decent. Check for the reviews.

I don't think you can find a better phone than Redmi Note 3 at below 18K budget.

Shall i get tempered protection glass or normal screen guard?Coz the phone tends to slip from my hand time to time :P

Get a tempered glass. It costs around 100-150 anyway and the safety it provides your screen is definitely not overstated. Tempered glass has saved my screen more that once from shatter.

All xiaomi devices have epic displays (mi4i and mi5 displays are just awesome).

I don't think if you would want to ruin it's look by putting tempered glass.

Just use it carefully.

They have epic display but are scratch resistant

Few days back Mi4 slipped out of my pocket .Was very careful but accidents do happen

Tempered glass took the hit saving me 8k on phone repair

Also quality tempered glass does not ruin display or viewing angles
