Samsung S20 FE is a good option at 38-39k right now. However, it is slightly over budget.
Ya, over budget. It's for 41k at Amazon right now. However, Exynos 990 in it isn't getting good reviews. I am intentionally trying to avoide Exynos processors. If it had the Snapdragon like it is in USA then would have been a smashing option.

In that price range there is even One plus 8T with a better Snapdragon 865 but again over budget.

Goti it. Good OS requirement would be an issue. i am sure there are multiple good options from chinese brands but their OS skin is meh

True.

How is One plus 8T? Anyone owns it here?
If nothing comes then will look at it as a last resort.

From what i know, it was considered overpriced by some since there were limited changes compared to 8 or even 7T. Not sure though..

Thinking of changing my almost 2 year old Samsung A50.

Looking for something under 30k. Would have gone higher but there are more expenses soon including a Ps5 purchase.

Some things I need-

1. Amoled screen as after using one it's hard to go back to a LCD one.
2. Minimum 90 Hz rate.
3. Minimum 8Gb ram and 128 GB storage.
4. Good OS. Currently using One UI 2.5 On A50 and it's a breeze to use.
5. 6.4 inch or higher screen.

So, what are my options?
Can wait a month or 2 if there are some good new launches coming.

S20 would have been in that range if it was any other year. Pixel 4a is good in that range but screen is a downgrade coming from AMOLED.

@Jigsaw Did you buy any cover for S21 Ultra?

Anyone else have any recommendations?

Yo sorry missed this in the clutter.

I'm a UAG fangirl for years now.

Thanks! I went with the Spigen rugged armour for now.

I am thinking of adding this grip to it, but not sure if the combo of the grip and case would block wireless charging.

Yeah UAG cases are frowned upon by many. I'm probably the only one I know who adores them. Something about the butch macho look

But any case that gives you a good grip is good. I've never dropped a phone with a case so it's just the in hand feel which I believe is what matters and that's totally subjective. Spigen are good. They were my love for many many years even before they were officially available in India. Only their crystal clear cases are horrible due to the yellowing which is inevitable.

And yes that pop socket or whatever the kids call them nowadays, that'll not let wireless charging work. The case itself should be perfectly fine for wireless charging. Just make sure the charger you have connected to the wireless pad is a Samsung adaptive fast charger at minimum. The white ones. Otherwise the newer 25/45w chargers if you lying around will happily work with the pad.

The oh snap grip is advertised to support wireless charging but I am skeptical if it will work with a case and the grip. Thankfully I have large enough hands that I have not really needed to use a a grip before. But since this can double up as kickstand, I thought it might be nice to have.

I don't have any wireless chargers as of now. Never had a phone which supported it till now. LOL

I am looking at these: (would be nice to have a stand one for the work desk)

Unless you have a galaxy watch or maybe airpods with a wireless charging case /airpods pro, don't bother with the duo. The convertible is good enough. I have the 1st gen convertible which was good till I grew over wireless charging altogether. For some reason always found battery runtime was shorter with it.

hmm... I do intend to trade in my s3 frontier for the galaxy watch3 and use the 200$ credits I am supposed to get. Hopefully they credit it soon before the 100$ off offer on the watches end.

Yeah, The duo might be unnecessary even then as I think it will just take extra space, as I do not keep the watch at my bedside for charge anyway.

Yeah exactly that space taking is why I never wanted or liked it. Plus the fact that one has to plonk the watch flat instead of the apple watch docks.

Guys what's a good phone for 30k

Never used any oneplus but the specs are pretty good. Someone who actually uses might be able to shed more light.

Totally understandable! That's why I those in-built wireless charging pad tables are intriguing.

For the gear s3 they had the charging cradle and I don't get why they changed the default charger to a pad. Cradle is so much better.

The SOT is legit phenom with this thing

@AtheK bhai soch mat aur.

LOL. What all settings are you running at?

Resolution, AOD, etc?

I am running everything at max right now with always-on display and not sure if the battery is best optimized right now. Maybe after some usage it will show better results.
