You cannot buy it after a certain time period has elapsed. That was the case with my ipad. I wasn't able to buy it when I enquired after 6 months.

They keep going back and forth between 60 days and 1 year. My iPad was showing it had 1 year left to purchase additional coverage but Apple Customer Support kept saying I only had 60 days. Didn’t purchase after 60 days. Checked a month before warranty was about to elapse and I was still eligible to buy when I called customer care.

Iphone 13 mini vs iphone 12(128gb)

Main use: Camera, watching football/Netflix.

Battery is also a secondary criteria but first is camera.

Please help me decide.

12.

Bigger screen is a huge plus. Camera still majorly the same.

I'm also confused rn because hdfc is giving 5000 rs cashback on iphone 12 128 gb and I can afford it after exchange.

But in diwali they might give airpods free with 12 like they did with 11 last year.

Been happy with the K20 pro for about 2 years. Nothing wrong with it, but just looking for a change in the upcoming sale. Upgrade, sidegrade, slight downgrade doesn't matter.

So, looking at the S20 FE, seems good overall, and I used to love the S7 I had before.

Pixel 4a, for the compact form, and the  camera.

iPhone 12 mini, never used an iPhone as a personal phone before. But I guess itd doesn't hurt to try.

Criterias:

Fantastic main and good selfie cameras

Good video capabilities

Updates for next 2 years at least

Solid 1 full day battery

Budget around 30k (can extend upto 40k)

Any suggestions?

Anyone?

Any iPhone 12mini users here, who can comment on the battery life?

Damn, is it the battery?
I thought for 40k, along with the 5.4" screen, it would be just perfect.

yes, it is the battery. maybe stretch it and go for the 12 later tonight.

I was waiting around for the Pixel 5A but doesn't look like its happening anytime soon.

Pretty much convinced myself, gonna go with the iPhone 12 too.

I have to buy one for dad tonight. If I cant grab a second one, I will wait and get it from Apple with the free airpods I guess.

Is the sound quality  for calls on speaker mode sound tinny/ poor quality

I use speaker mode for phone calls at office a lot...so I want to know....from what I see on Reddit ,people say the call audio on speaker mode sounds horrible

It's not tiny. Rather harsh. But entirely workable. I used it today in speaker mode, no issues.

Does one need to buy Apple care day 1 with the phone that you are buying or can you buy it later?

Did you end up getting? Is it worth the cost? Seems a bit steep so I am torn if I should take my chance and pay for the repair if I get any else that money gets saved
