Death Stryke
New BB screens. BB will be back on top after OS 6.0 launches. People not satisfied with Android/Iphone have another option, and current BB owners will not jump ship. ... Screens I am getting more and more interested in this than both android and iPhone. The recent tests conducted on the new webkit browser in BB OS 6 beat both android and iphone. OS 6 does not add newer features than android and iPhone and is just catching up, but its business features are legendary. @Gladiator Spica is good if u are keen on android. if your sister does not need business features and push email, dont buy BBs. I see a lotta people who buy BB phones and have not activated their push email service They dont even know about it!!.. Cash
lol she do know push email and that Messenger thing that is what she actually wants from BB. she is not keen on android or something like just need a awesome phone with QWERTY WIFI 3G
Death Stryke
If push mail is required, I guess go with BB, unless its her gmail acc which she wants to be pushed, in which case android also will do the job. No better qwerty than BB. But BB 8520 does not have 3G, so that is a problem. The cheapest BB 3G model is around 20k; the bold
Cash
No but there is some BB Pearl 3G coming soon i guess.. any idea when is it coming?? or else i will go with Samsung Wave or HTC Touch T3333 or Xperia X10 Mini Pro.
Death Stryke
I suggest stay away from the wave and HTC touch. Right now, take an android phone. Wave is based on Bada OS, an OS which has is still in alpha stages and no apps. HTC Touch has WinMo 6.5? Avoid. No idea about Pearl 3G or any of the upcoming BB phones with OS 6. Any phone which BB releases now will have OS 6. And there is no news/rumors on when they will release them
Cash
HTC Touch is not Android. Android is not necessary for her.. WIFI,3G, Qwerty and Some Price Value is a Must. What about X10 Mini Pro?
Death Stryke
Have u considered Nokia E72. One of the decent Nokia phones around. Plus free push mail. Killer battery life and good looks to boot. Only issue is the ageing Symbian OS. Otherwise it fits your requirement. I dont know about Sony bro. It has the old 1.6 OS. Plus I never liked SE phones. just my 0.02 Edited July 22, 2010 by Death Stryke

Ne0
@DS, which bb phone were you refering in the pic ? Edited July 22, 2010 by Ne0
Death Stryke
Not sure. Details of the new OS and new BB phones are very sketchy right now. It could be the Bold 9800, or the Storm 3. BB seems to be moving towards fully touchscreen devices or a touchscreen+qwerty combo.
Ne0
Full touch screen ? Has anybody used the storm ? I mean, is it comfortable to use the touch screen for typing out long emails ?
Death Stryke
I dont know, but people are typing out long emails in Android phones, iphones etc anyway. Its a matter of personal preference. I am faster on BB and I find it comfortable to press physical buttons for emails other than a screen.
Solitaire
I kinda love the feel of physical buttons too... found it much more comfortable to use my old N79's keypad for email than my dad's touchscreen phone. Only problem with mail on phone is when you accidentally hit that exit button on a nokia and choose "delete" instead of "save to drafts" ... I've done that a few times with some huge e-mails I'd typed out on a phone.
Cash
BB Storm isn't Full Touch Screen i mean its not like normal touch screen you will feel like you are pressing physical buttons only.. I Love to type in touch screens but some times it gets annoying when we press S and we get D and like that.

You guys should seriously check out swype. You won't want to go back to using normal input or a keyboard again.
Death Stryke
I wish Swype comes for the next gen BB devices. I would jump ship to Android today if i had MS exchange mail at work. Can't do without push email.

El Tigre Chino
^^ Samsung Galaxy Spica for INR 12.5K Any idea where I can find one? is it Pretty good?? i usually dont prefer Samsung how is the touch and lag and stuff in it?? The Spica has a very nice capacitive touch screen, as for the Lag it has a pretty strong 800mhz processor. There have been some issues of the phone slowing down after the 2.1 update(caused by the samsung launcher) Nothing a bit of Rooting can't fix. Can someone in mumbai plz tell me where to buy a Spica(legit), im tired of searching and getting irritated!! I know how you feel mate, been searching from bout 3 weeks.. Checking different stores, calling up dealers etc. Manage to find a place selling it yet? Please tell me you've had better luck than me.
