since you require good speakers as well I think you should look in sony ericsson stable (they have good cams as well) though I'm not sure of which exact model would suit you..

you can go for some samsung phone Galaxy 5 maybe....

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It's actually for my Dad and speakers and camera would be his main requirement. He is currently using W550i and its high time he upgraded :P

Nero you can see Galaxy S on display in Croma i think, and also sangeetha will show it to you, go fro galaxy S its a pretty good phone, but if you can wait, then wait for Desire Z

Well, the desire z looks pretty neat with keypad as well as touch.but how are its touch sensitive buttons, react well or you gotta press twice..and besides just checked out its specs it has CPU of 800MHz whereas galaxy s has 1Ghz speed..so i think galaxy s has slight advantage over there

Besides, when is Desire Z arriving.?

Better to ask the service operator.

In my opinion , any operator will work on Blackberry,no matter where you bought the phone from.

Its obvious you have to change the sim card.

Changing sim is alright...just wanted to know if it would work or not..anyways thanks..

So I just lost my iphone3g *sad*, guess it was time to upgrade.

I got so used to the iphone experience thatI'm in a split ming between iOS and android. I was looking at iphone4, samsung galaxy S or the nexus S. Dont know if there are any other cheaper devices (android) that can do most of the things these 3 models have, suggestions ?

Were you the same person who lost 2 phones before? Just asking...

Anyway, what are your requirements bro? What do u look for in a phone? You alright with a lot of tinkering?

Thankfully NO !! After loosing two, I would be thinking of buying a Rs1200 phone. (I'm still thinking that option if that would let me do active syncing with exchange) :P

My basic requirement is push mails, east UI, google maps with GPS, active sync exchange accounts (contacts, calendar & emails), firmware upgrades to keep adding stuff.

I dont care much about the camera resolution on the phone.
