Thankfully NO !! After loosing two, I would be thinking of buying a Rs1200 phone. (I'm still thinking that option if that would let me do active syncing with exchange) :P

My basic requirement is push mails, east UI, google maps with GPS, active sync exchange accounts (contacts, calendar & emails), firmware upgrades to keep adding stuff.

I dont care much about the camera resolution on the phone.

If you don't want a lot of games or any iPhone specific apps, then Nexus S would be a good way to go (but you won't get it here, so have to import). Also, Google maps work best on Android.

Since google maps is a top priority for you, BB can be crossed out. iPhone 4 or Nexus S. Check the email clients in both phones tho. I've read about some issues with MS Exchange on android. Not sure what tho.

Btw, since its MS exchange active sync, I am assuming the server pushes your emails to your phone? Coz if it doesn't then BB is the way to go.

Except ActiveSync (which I don't use, hence have no experience with) I'd say get a Nexus S imported somehow or go with the iPhone 4. You haven't stated whether you used to / will play a lot of iOS games or whether you used to / will use plenty of iOS specific apps though.

Were you guys talking to me? Sorry I didnt realise if it was me :D

Ah I just dont like playing games on a phone. However, playing movies count when i'm travelling.

Well I'm on google apps, which uses activesync for push mails and contacts/calendar syncs. With android it should not be a problem and shud be native.

Another thing I forgot to add, is I would love to have a good voip client, which after gingerbread should be native to android.

So I think iphone is ruled out, SGS is available right now without gingerbread, or I can wait for nexus S, maybe samsung will start selling it too in india.

iPhone isn't ruled out. All the things you mentioned is available on the iOS platform too. If you are using google apps, then you get push mail on either device. Plus there are voip apps on iOS as well.

Then again, its your personal preference. I would suggest you take a look at email clients and calendars on both devices and see what works

Don't worry, it was about the question vbhoj was asking. For you though, a little present:

I swear to god too many people are using BBs after that ad. Ive lost my whole professional feel of holding a BB :eyebrow:

But nonetheless, its the best for me. Helps juggle between several mail accounts and is very quick and effective. The new phone has a superb appointment and calendar system that helps storing and accessing them very easily.

^U know the funny part. These people dont even activate a BB plan :S...they use it as a normal phone

Precisely :D

My friend got it so that she has quicker access to facebook or something like that. Im literally like "Wtf? So you went and spent 25k on a business oriented phone to use facebook? You stupid bint, you could have bought an iphone or something". Thats the point casual owners get irritated and dont see the reality of why BBs are used by business people.
