OS is quite good for day to day use

No use of buying Lumia phones so late as they won't be upgradable to WinPho 8

Idiot Nokia should have launched this earlier and kept the price of Lumia 800 at 25k since launch

I had to settle for Lumia 710 coz 800 was for 29k

No ..

Lumia 800 just has Single Core 1.4Ghz processor and 512 MB RAM

Android would have lagged to the core on this device

That is a very wrong assumption that people just made in their mind. My phone has 1Ghz processor with an adreno 205 GPU and it hardly hangs. And I have lots of apps and games installed. I wont say it never hanged, it did sometimes it even restarted 3-4 times but its almost a year and I guess just 3-4 or less restart doesn't considered to be bad in a year besides the amout of apps i've installed in my phone is probably double than any normal 'windows phone' user. Yes, there are some shitty dual core phones like optimus 2x which are worse than galaxy y but assuming the same thing for all devices is just wrong.

Also, about 'use only as phone' and 'its good as a phone'. People buy smartphones so that their phones would do 'smart' things and run apps and games. There is really no point in buying a 30k phobe just to make phone calls unless soneone is really in the looks and looks only.

^ I agree. Phones like Xperia U, HTC Desire or SE Live have almost same specs but they are android phones. Lumia 800 has great looks and is well built and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be a good android phone.

But Nokia DID mess this one up. Should have released with Win 8. <_<

Then it is extremely order priced at 25k, plus anyone carrying a Nokia smartphone is actually not so smart :P

Alright, so I've narrowed my options down to the Galaxy Nexus or the HOX. Now, I know that the HOX is priced around 33K in the market whilst the Galaxy Nexus is around 24K. That equates to a difference of 9K.

Aside from the Quad Core proc, the 0.1" larger screen, better build quality and local warranty, is there any other reason why I ought to opt for the HOX? I, personally, don't like the HTC Sense UI, so it ain't something I'd consider as a pro.

Basically, aside from getting a newly launched phone, I'm trying to justify the additional 9K investment. Any input will be appreciated!
