Anshul
Strongly considering shifting to Blackberry from Android. One thing that is bugging me is how do BB users decide which phone is for them (Curve, bold, storm etc) What I have heard so far is battery life is better on the bold and its supposed to be faster than the curve models. What I need out of it is Good Battery life Ability to do actual phone stuff like calling and texting decently Email, Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp/BBM should be flawless. A decent camera is a plus Any help is appreciated. You cant be serious.
El Tigre Chino
I am, Wil be using the Android as a secondary phone most likely. The only and most frustrating problem I have with it is its battery life, drops down to 50-60% in the time it takes to reach work from home. If I'm out the whole day I have to use it very sparingly for it to not die out. And I barely use any of the apps anymore other than the ones I mentioned. AtheK
Yup android does have very bad battery mgmt, I keep a spare charger at office all the time. But I think bbm is still not the solution, try getting a Motorola with higher battery capacity.

Although, I dont like blackberry phones much, bold has everything you mentioned with smart apps like whatsapp. Its touch and type So, I would suggest you to get blackberry bold (9790 I think) which is around 26k in the market. Suggesting this coz I used it. Excellent build quality, though I still think its very high priced

Quite a lot of people in my socio-economic circle are on bbm as well, which is part of the reason for the shift. So, I would suggest you to get blackberry bold (9790 I think) which is around 26k in the market. Suggesting this coz I used it. Excellent build quality, though I still think its very high priced Tried the touchscreen bold(Bold 5?), didn't like it all that much. I've heard good things about the 9320 and 9220, has what I need and fits in my budget quite well too. Most likely getting that.

Im asking bcoz im getting Xperia U for just 10.5k w/o bill and warranty. If you are getting it from a shop ask if they have some kind of dealer warranty, personally I never care much for non warranty phones, as.most of the high end phones do last for at least a year without any problem
Zeehunter
Is it safe to buy mobile without bill and warranty from Alfa(Mumbai)? Im asking bcoz im getting Xperia U for just 10.5k w/o bill and warranty. Alfa doesn't give bills for some new phones .. But the prices are really very good I had saved some 3-4k per phone I had bought 2 phones from them without bills .. Worked flawless
dante77
I really don't think its a good idea to buy a non-warranty phone. Chances of getting bricked is unpredictable. Also, how come they manage that price? since they don't give warranty, there should be something fishy.

Zeehunter
they are smuggled, or down right stolen? Could be anything And the bill that they give you on other items (like Xbox 360 games , food items) is a kaccha bill like some sheepkeeper writes on a piece of a paper and gives u
godspeed4476
They don't pay taxes/customs or they import phones A major bulk of the phones are from insurance fraud and contract defaults.
