well bluetooth was between friends, but how do you send it across :naughty:

If we could wait 15 minutes for a jpeg to load, we were willing to wait 30 mins to :naughty:

I think I know what you're talking about :naughty:

I still repent on selling the captivate to buy this shitty plastic called Galaxy S3. Within two weeks sold it off.

Why do everybody hate the S3's plastic so much? I didn't really use it much except when I checked out my friends' phones, but it wasn't really that bad. It can't be much worse than any phone we've used in the past decade. There are only a few phones that use materials other than plastic anyway. :scratchchin:

Yup plastic is used by many manufacturers, but the quality and the finish matters. Even phones by MMX has better quality plastic than s3. The s3 plastic just feels cheap and to add to that costing 30k and being flagship it doesn't really stands up to the expectations. A premium phone should look and feel like a premium phone.

Look or hold the xperia S/Z or HTC onex or iPhone 5/4s and then S3/S4 and you would realize that Samsung is not serious about the design or the quality of the material they use.

Note : I know its the best selling phone ever and millions of unit have been sold etc.. so the above is just my view and everybody else has the right to have their own views about the plastic crap called s3.

Look at you butt hurt about the S3

It just seems like you are influenced way too much by other people's views. The phone is solid and doesn't feel as cheap as people say it does.

Also best of luck with your Nexus 4, people say the back panel cracks really quickly even with small drops.

Its not just the plastic, its the overall design too. From galaxy Y to galaxy note, they all look more or less same with different size. They just stay with the exact same design with every single phone. Sure, they look good but at the same time they all look identical. Grand, S3, S4, S duos (curvy edges)..... Note, S, S2, Y, R, W they all have same design

I'd specifically mentioned that these are my views so I dont understand why would you say influenced by others. I bought the phone and used it so what's left to influence anything ?

To prove that I don't get influenced at all by what others say, I'm gonna just ignore your view about nexus.

Anything else mate ?

I have never seen a single high end smartphone in my company without a case. (everyone has S2/S3/Note/2/One X/iPhone/Grand, and almost everyone in top management has Note 1 or 2) So there is a reason why millions buy Galaxy devices, because they dont care much about build quality as they are going to use a case anyways.

Agreed that glass isn't the best idea (unless they can use some ultra-hard glass that won't crack in the future). Yeah, I've dropped it a couple times but with the bumper on it, it doesn't break unless you make sure that a table corner or something hits it right on the glass. Plus it's not just the glass, the entire phone is solidly built and 'feels' premium. Which I'm sad to say (cos I don't like iPhones :P), until then, I had only felt on an iPhone 4/5. YMMV but I take really good care of my phones.

I don't get why people expect to drop electronics all the time and still have them not chip at all. Would you drop your laptop a bunch of times (especially something well built like an MBP or MBA) and then complain if it gets scratched? It's not like the screen breaks or something. We didn't complain this way when the not-so-smart Nokias were in vogue. sh*t got scratched and ripped but the phones kept working.

If you want a computer in a phone then treat it like it is one.

Plastic's a great idea to keep it sturdy and I didn't mind it on my past phones - Nexus S, G-Nex - but I wish it felt better in my hand. And if you're releasing a flagship phone in this day and age at that price it better feel effin' good. Actually when I go back and look at my Nexus S's back and see the glossy plastic all scratched up and buffed, I don't like it one bit (I mean the fact that it's all scratched up).

I am serious here, the Nexus 4 is actually very fragile, the verge reported that their review version cracked from a small drop from the kitchen counter, its HIGHLY recommended you use a bumper.

The Verge did, others have had a different opinion. It's equally split but yes, it's recommended to use the phone with a bumper or a case.

Yep, i have used all of the smartphones and gadgets with some kind of a case, i do however try to use less obtrusive cases i.e. would not sacrifice on the product usability and charm by applying a hideous case. Only Xperia S was used without case, but that phone was a POS anyways.

Even though am a very protective user of the phones, the phones do drop every 1nce in a while, and the case also keeps the body scratch proof.
