It's scheduled to be available by january early. Probably the best deal in that price range IMO. MOTOROLA is not available in India. Not officially and no after sales support. Also she needs the front cam for Skype. After researching a bit more, I think Nexus 7 first gen is also a gud option. Currently going for 9.5K on Flipkart. She already has a dumb Nokia and browsing and other stuff will be better on the Nexus. I know there will be a learning curve in Android but having a bigger screen makes things a lot easier.
