Moto g is running too old a proc now, weighs the same as G2, and G2 is slicker, there is no competition, dosa or not..

I would not have been in the market if my go would not have been rebooting three-four times a day with me, randomly corrupting my contacts and message logs.

My intent with the MOTO G is to get a phone that works, holds enough music, lasts through out the day and will get decent community support after the official update largesse runs out. Also, I am not a 100% on getting a phone without warranty because of the absurdity I am facing with SONY support.

Also, I support Apple on one factor that the phones are becoming absurdly sized these days. I just do not want a 5" slab of polycarbonate and silicon, it is very uncomfortable to use for me even after having a chimpanzee hand.

Tech enclave a seller is selling for a sprint make, look in deals subforum(19.5k)

Interesting. Have not been there in ages.

@Alpha - Brother, trust me. You do not want to buy a Windows Phone. I have used it quite a lot. Lot of my friends have it because of initial expression but it really gives you pain in using even the most basic things. I think you the negatives of Win Phones pretty well.

and I am on the same boat as you, my almost 3 year old Neo V is aging. Same problems like you but I am on CM10. Can't really complaint. 3 years for a medium ranged smartphone is more than enough. Even I am looking for a decent sub 20k range android phone. Since most of the phones these days pack with quad core processor, I think it'll be fine to have a mid-range phone which is future proof.

I think Moto G will be fine for you. One more option is to wait a little bit to get a latest phone in your range. It is better to get a phone launched recently than to get a half year old one. Though, I don't really see any choice. Xperia M2 is not HD and more costly and you certainly don't want want to buy a Grand. In short Moto G.

EDIT: and we have a user too. Great. Moto G for you then. Guys, since Moto SC are not present in India, where do one go for repair and replacements?

My parents have LUMIA's, the 520, I am quite satisfied with the looks and overall OS even with the application shortage. The battery life is phenomenal and even on frugal specifications the phones run without hiccups.

That is why I wanted to know if I have any options there.

flipkart has tied up with Redington if I am not wrong.

Thank you Sir. =D

Touch is smooth. Call quality is nice. Battery life, I use it to browse net, check mails, watsup etc with wifi, gives me around 8-10 hrs easily.

Okay, thank you.

So you charge on a daily basis or twice in a day?

budget 30k

In no particular order,

  • MOTO X
  • Nexus 5
  • LG G2
  • SONY XPERIA Z1 Compact

Depends on your needs, if it is software aspect, Nexus 5.

Hardware overall, the LG G2 / SAMSUNG Galaxy S5 and if you want a compact phone with good specifications and performance the Z1 Compact.

MOTO X is if you want to experience something different with good software and interesting features that you may or may-not find useful.

Do some homework on the models that are being suggested to you, look at your needs and finally to your budget before finalising. =D

Nexus 5 is the best option IMO. Its around 25k I think. Next in line is Z1C, but it a bit costly and has 720p screen (which looks great at 4.3" tbh). Samehsung is Samehsung. Moto X is quite old.

Talking of samsung, has anyone seen Geonee ad? I know its old but the ad is Gold. Pure Beizzat
