Got the Mi Power bank ( 10400 mAh ) today.

Have a few questions -

- How do I charge it ( can I use my Mi3 front adapter with power bank's cable )

- How much time does it take to fully charge

- is there a way I can charge my macbook pro retina with it ?

^ Answers, sequentially,

  • No, use a standard micro-USB charger to charge it. Using your mi3 charger with a micro-USB cable is also cool.
  • I generally leave it over-night (~5 -->8 hours)
  • No

Isn't that overkill? I could charge my phone 8 times with that.

If I used that to charge my DS Lite, I could run it for 200+ hours.

Thanks alpha . Also is there an indication when the Power bank is fully charged ? If yes what is it ?

All four LED's will flash steady indicating a full charge.

With the tawaa's that people like these days, not really, no. Also, you never know when it might come handy.

What's tawaa?

Well it could come in hand in reeaaaallly looong trips. Or in some specific situations. Like if there's a cyclone and all the power lines and transformers are damaged and it would take a week to get them running again. :harhar:

It is human nature to hoard.

Last question . Alpha thanks in advance bro :P

The Mi3 wall charger is 5v ~ 2000 mAh which comes to 2A.

Mi power bank has an output of 2.1A

Now , is the Mi power bank a good option for everyday charging ? Will it affect the battery life in any way whatsoever ?

Yes, it is cool for a daily driver, although once a while charging the phone over-night / uninteruppted through the socket would be nice.

Getting a Nokia 225, will any micro sd card work for it ? i want to buy a 16 GB one. If possible suggest me some good quality ones which will work smoothly with the phone, as my mom will use it.
