hope
If it's heating up in not-so-heavy processor tasks, then I think, yeah, it's a problem. You may want to check for service options. Also, how old is the phone? Heats up when using Chrome sometimes. As soon as i use the cpu cooler app it cools down again. Max hot it gets is 36 Degrees. Mizanurification
unless ur phone is so hot that u cant touch it, its fine. its normal for it to get warm. also network signal makes the bigges difference.

hope
And have you ensured that the Mobile data mode in your phone is only 2G? The Wolfy among us
No.Preferred Network Type was set to "LTE".I just changed to 2G only.Is that what you are talking about? Exactly. If you use only 2G, but still preferred network is set to LTE / 3G, the phone keeps searching for these signals. Hope the heating reduces now. AtheK
I would rather throw the phone in a dustbin then put it on 2g,and even I am on proffered network LTE/3G and yes it search for best network, BUT NEVER heats up cos of that, time to get a better phone.
