My wife uses honor 8 and it does have a very good display and that is a FHD, so by that benchmark i am thinking this should be pretty good. Yes extremely well priced. I'm in the market for buying a new phone , shortlisted One plus 5, iPhone 7(but will not get it for 45k), Depending on price and release date- Nokia 9, Moto X4 For some reason ,unable to dig the Honor 8pro design. Use nova launcher and make Life easy for yourself. For the popularity part ya they lag behind, but after seeing the abuse the phone has gone through in last 8 months it has held its own well. I actually got onboard the hype train for OP5 but after holding one today and experiencing it, it certainly is a good looking phone with crisp display etc. But not yet sold on it especially at that price. sweetvar26 Posted July 19, 2017 Report Share Posted July 19, 2017 (edited) I had a one feet drop with my Spigen Rugged Armor case on it, I don't use a screen protector, have a one line crack on the screen from the left to right. My first phone crack ever, unfortunately. I also don't use phone cases either, been using this with one because I knew something like this would happen. I haven't asked about how much it would cost to get it fixed because the phone is still working flawless and the crack is barely visible when I mostly have a dark theme on it. So I wanted a cheap phone, ended up buying Honor 8 for $279. It's a 64 Gb 4 gb version. It looks great, has Android N and 4G HD calling also works. So far the experience is good and well above what $279 can buy. Almost all features of Miui are there and look wise also it's quite similar. Seriously no reason to spend $800 on a flagship device when this one offers so much for such a good price. Even in India its currently selling for 18k after price drop.
