Hmmm...

wish oneplus had some mid range offering

After the disaster called One X, it is best that they do not try to stray into this territory.

Close to ~17,000 for the NOKIA 6 (2018), good price for a solid looking device. There should be a couple offers online for purchase, https://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/news/nokia-6-2018-nokia-7-plus-nokia-8-sirocco-india-launch-live-blog-updates-1832642

Damn, I was really looking to buy it and I thought it would be priced 15k. Let's see if with some offers it can be had for 15k. Will they holding flash sales or normal one. I really don't like flash sales.

7 plus seems overpriced.

DID HMD Global hold any flash sales for its last generation devices?

It is fine. Honestly. For a notable branded device with such a spec sheet.

I need a phone before June, are any new models being launched like notch display - I am intrigued by Vivo V9 with the notch iPhone X display that it comes with. it has a sub par processor for a price tag of 22k - I don't trust this brand Vivo....are they good ? have they improved? reliable for 1.5 to 2 years? I am looking to upgrade my moto g4s (2 years done) too many issues!! I read on some sites that the notch display will become standard for most phones in mid range budget, Mi, Honor, etc., are all planning to release similar type display in later part of the year, but Vivo is the first to release...your thoughts on this are appreciated.

HMD Global, NOKIA 6 (2018) or NOKIA 7 Plus should be right up your alley.

Reliable build, solid specs and most importantly quick updates thanks to being part of the Android One programme.
