I generally avoid Flipkart, I don't like Blue and Yellow color scheme.

The only thing I wanted to buy was a Kindle Paperwhite, but no discount. The card discount isn't enough frankly, I can wait.

I am looking for a phone, flipkart won't allow me to buy one without choosing either of

1] Complete Mobile Protection 1 Year by Flipkart Protect

2] Flipkart Warranty Assistant 1 Year By Flipkart Protect

3] Digital Suraksha for Rs 50,000 by Bajaj Allianz

It's a below 15k phone and idk why i have to get at least any one the above, i don't understand Rs.99 warranty assistance T & C, will i be forced to only repair the phone if it's faulty or can i straight up apply for a replacement within the permitted time frame ?

Also amazon india is not showing any good deals on phones except chinese sh*t, even though i'm a prime member

Did you get this resolved?

I have never come across this bug. I usually just add to cart and place the order.

Not really, its a hyperbole.

Flipkart's Blue and Yellow color scheme makes me wanna throw my phone at the wall. The interface is very annoying to browse.

And that applies to everything FK in general.

I'd rather pay a few hundred more and go Amazon if need be, and get some peace of mind. Dealing with Flipkart's customer service is a royal pain in the a*s, like @Snake said.

So for G8X nothing like that was mandatory ?

No, nothing of that sort for G8x or the A50s I bought. If it had been, then I definitely wouldn't have managed to get one.

You get may be like 10 seconds from the time you add to cart to finish your order, that's it!

Doesn't matter who showse up, the bottom line is such return/policy exists only here in India because people exploit the company's ' customers first ' policy.

This is why we can never have good things.

True, but I feel different about Amazon.

Whenever I've had to deal with their customer service before, its been fantastic and lightning fast.

The chat option works like a charm. Elsewhere I'd either have to pick up the damn phone and press numbers on the keypad to just connect to the right person, who'd probably hang up, or write an email to wait a whole week to get back a bogus reply. Its really good.

Plus they brought around kindle, and access to books like never before, and that itself is a game changer for me.

(Sorry for OT on this thread)

On the contrary, I feel in India most of us are relatively reluctant to use the return policy because of they way we are accustomed to dealing with local shops. Whereas Americans are completely shameless in this respect, customers are so f**king entitled they will use the product and demand full refund.

Received the Pixel 4A last night. Out for delivery since 9.30 AM and got it at 8 PM. Wait was tough. Opening the phone wasn't because it wasn't packed well from Flipkart.

The Good : Camera ofcourse. Day and Night difference from my previous phone which was OnePlus 7 (non-pro). Haptic feedback is awesome. Gives a premium feel while using the phone, specially typing. Form factor of 5.81 inch is a refreshing change from all the phablet phones out there. Phone is light weight and cute. Battery is also one of the pros of the phone. 3100 mah which is less as per 2020 standards where 4000 is a pretty common but Pixel 4A should easily lasts a day. I am at 2.5 hours screen time with 65% remaining.

The bad : CHARGING SPEED is criminally low. and that's the only major flaw. 18W fast charger is slow AF. No inbuilt voice recorder which I always liked in OnePlus phones. Dual speakers are nice but could have been better.

Overall : Loving the phone and bought an mi power bank of 10k mah just in case I run out of battery.

Please do post some impressions after 1-2 months of usage as well, if possible. Especially day to day performance (non-games) and battery backup.
