Why are these phones getting progressively expensive? Isn't technology supposed to get cheaper with time:scratchchin:
As long as people are paying, nothing will change for good. Customer decides the price of the product, not the companies.

We discovered that more and more Galaxy users are reusing accessories they already have and making sustainable choices in their daily lives to promote better recycling habits. To support our Galaxy community in this journey, we are transitioning to removal of the charger plug and earphones in our latest line of Galaxy smartphones.

They are pricing to compete with Apple, 512 gb + 16 gb version is cheaper then iphone pro 128GB version, forget the pro Max. The usual cashback and the 10l voucher with free tag makes the deal even more sweeter.

They could have still tried to get the base one starting at around 1 and top up the high end at 1.1, but that will anyway happen when note releases. Samsung phones are holding price now for around 6 months compared to earlier state when price used to drop in couple of months.

Apple ka asar hai i guess then. Samsung was so good in pricing their products here. Not anymore, sigh..

Shitsung at their best again.

Samsung used to innovate like crazy in the early days. Now, all the innovation is either from the China camps or surprise surprise... Apple.

I don't have any issues with their products. They still provide rhe most well rounded phones in the market, at least in the flagship space.

Awww..

It was less of a defense force and more of a "calling someone out for exaggerated nonsense"

No one here says that its the best thing ever or better than snapdragon versions.

My next phone will probably be a pixel a series provided I can get it for a decent price and the battery life is good.
Although idk, I'm kinda invested in the ecosystem at this point with galaxy watch and buds + so maybe not.
Biggest problem i have with Pixel phones is the meh screens (for the price), especially after coming from Samsung's flagship screens

Hold the P4A once, you might not want to hold another phone again.

But yes, the screen will be a significant downgrade, especially coming from a Galaxy. The chipset is also weak, not that it matters with my day to day use.
