Personally I'm using a 2 year old SD835 processor which is kick-a*s for my needs. The P4a processors would perform roughly on the same level. For my minimal use case it's more than enough.

SD730G does better at single core and multi core, at almost half TDP, improving battery efficiency. The GPU is weaker than SD835 though (730G is also on smaller 8nm size).

I had similar doubts when moving from P2XL to P4a, but the better processor, battery efficiency, increased RAM are major changes.

Look at S21 Plus vs Mi 11 Ultra camera reviews. No comparison whatsoever. S21 Plus trumps it in every way.
Also, with Mi's track record of updates, purchasing such a costly phone is pretty foolish IMO.

Ya even i was surprised to all them equals, samsung is better.

I will not recommended 12 mini. I just don't find it to be worthy. Better would be to appreciate a little size bump and switch phones.

Yeah I know it's overpriced, but man my use is so much (I have an e-com business for context , and half my day is spent replying customer's)

Low battery ? My P4a regularly gives 5.5 - 6 hours SOT. For a battery that size, pretty impressive.

I am on WiFi most of the time though. Whenever I go out, I turn on battery saver, and it lasts pretty good.

Unfortunately no small size phones except P4a and i12 Mini. And it seems they will be the last of their kind.

I use wi-fi, both shop and home, the SOT is good , but real world usage isn't. Used my brothers pixel 4 and did not like the battery, even s10e has crap battery, guess it comes with small sizes.

He's used to flagship and p4a is a budget model. He won't enjoy using it.

I would for first few days, but when phone starts filling up, sh*t starts hanging , I had a pixel 2 do before s10e and it started giving trouble within 6 months. Had to sell it.

World of difference between P4 and P4a. P4 is known for hardware and battery issues since inception. P4a is quite opposite. Smooth, with great battery life.

You can check Pixel reddit for more detail.

70k for phone is a pretty bullshit price regardless. It's f**king wild that flagship phones cost 1L now. S21 is at the bottom end of Samsung's lineup and even that costs 70k. Crazy. I'll get S21 FE probably.

Well other way to look at it is that Flagship is not for everyone, if it becomes so common that everyone has it, then who will buy the lower spectrum of phones. I perosnally hate this one lac for a phone thing, but then again people who can afford it still buy it, and others who can't well they just can't. Just like how car range from one spectrum to another, eventually all of them get the same job done, but not all are priced same.

I mean yeah but flagships didn't cost so much few years back. Obviously they can be priced at whatever the hell but I still don't see any particular reason for constant price creep.

R&D cost

Rising salaries

Rising prices of components.

Blah, blah.

Everything has gone northward, I was just checking for a scooter for wife, nothing decent is less then a lac, everything is f**ked

Which is the best android phone under 35k? I am so out of touch with phones nowadays.

I got One Plus 7T for Rs 29k on sale (clubbin all offers). Loving it so far.

Pixel 4a is for 30k or so. Good phone but small screen.

Any release date/price reveal yet?

I'm wondering if I should upgrade this year, used my current phone for 3 years or so now...

Wait for asus zenfone 8. Has top of the line specs, headphone jack, comfortable size, clean OS, notification light, etc. and should launch at around 35k.

Thanks. Will check them out. Yes headphone jack is a must.
