Lol, can't wait to see what failboat pricing they adopt finally. Last time all were speculating 20-25k, they brought it at 31k :)..This time all r saying 45k :).hope they surprise us again...in a good way tho :)

i am really hoping for a surprise around 35k!! :)

also, i heard that there aint gonna be an 8GB version.... only a 16 and 32GB!!

60k.LOL...:). IMO, I thnk you'd better skip the 3GS altogether if u get a 3G at a good price. There is nothing very new in the 3GS except speed. I'd rather wait till June '10 till the next one is released and hopefully one which will have a new design alltogether.

its the samething going through my mind since a week.... :)

^^saberwing wanted to buy 1

would u recommend it

if the pricing is similar to 3G

if the pricing is similar to 3G (which i dont think it will be), then why not!! if pricing differs then i would definitely recommend going against the 3GS! its just not worth that much money!

IMO

@hisagi

Not really. If u want a 3G, try getting it for less than 20k from abroad. Paying the full price now is totally a waste of money. If the 3GS releases at something above 35k, skip it all together. Not worth it. Wait for next year.

If anyone wants the iphone experience now, its best to get a cheap 3G from abroad. 3GS is no point since it looks just the same except for internal features

then what other phones do u recommend

available in india ie

Right now? In Nokia, I'd recommend the E72 which just released. Its a sucessor to the E71, one of the best phones Nokia made. In Sony, no idea as I dont follow it. Samsung, you could look at the newly released Jet, or the Omnia HD. Can't comment on either phone as I havent seen the reviews.

Oh yeah, the Blackberry Curve 8520. At 14.5k, its the best smartphone you could get at a killer price. I read glowing reviews of the same. Check it out

@Madhav, I'd suggest you look at this too.Brilliant is an understatement. I couldnt believe the pricing. Oh but 3G isnt there FYI, but in any case 3G is not coming to India anytime soon.

oka.. the above post was for hisagi's earlier query..

mmm.. @ DS.. if it launches @ the 3g price point, it wud b decent. i was at an electronics store yest

whr i bot me a pair of ultimate ears ahem ahem.. :(

n this guy was buying the 3gs 32 gig white..i jus asked him if i cud get some hands on time. it really is fast. though it was stock w/o any apps, jailbreak, themes etc.. it was seriously fast.. faster than the iPhone 2g when it was on 1.x firmware and that was pretty fast. and the camera was not haf bad either.

fingers crossed. but in all honesty and seriousness.. if they do exceed the 3g pricepoint.. then boycott... geoffrey boycott. (cdnt resist) :ack:
