Would you like to know if your mobile is of good quality or not?????

Press the following on your mobile *#06# and the-international mobile equipment identity number appears. Then check the 7th and 8th numbers:

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very Bad quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 00 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 13 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health.

btw N96 is going to be another turn down for Nokia...now Nokia doesnt seem to be working as per consumers but seems to be just concentrating over RnD and copying the competitors...!!

This is really amazing, worlds first ( second actly, bt first one was Samsungs flop show ) phone with 3x optical zoom....

not yet available in India, but costs around 22000 rupees in US. If it launches in India, its gonna give tight competition to Nokia's N95 and Sony Ericsson's K850i. But this beautiful device misses WLAN. Chk the link below for more info!!

planning to pick up a new phone, can someone post some popular models to consider (i'll be upgrading from my treo 650) and my budget is ~20k.

and yes, these are my requirements:

1. great connectivity - edge/3g connectivity + bluetooth + IR (optional)

2. expandable memory

3. good browser/email client (POP/IMAP)

4. decent camera (2mp at least)

5. qwerty keypad preferable (but i hate touchscreen only phones i.e. the ones that come without a proper keypad)

6. OS doesnt matter but i prefer native apps (for greater functionality) rather than java applets - thus i'd lean towards windows mobile, palmos or symbian

7. GPS if possible

8. FM if possible

i've used a nokia, SE, HTC (win) and palm mobile phone in the recent past, so i will not be comfortable with the GUI of the samsung & motorola phones.

consider following phones then...

Motrola Q9

Nokia E61i

HTC S710

I wld HIghly recmmend Nokia 6110, but if you need QWERTY, go for E61i...that wld be best for you!!

I am to about to take a cellphone, budget not known, am confused between Samsung U600 ( looks awesome ), G800 ( 5 MP camera with optical zoom ), D900i ( sounds brilliant ) then Nokia N73 ( i knw its old, but its runs like beauty ), Nokia E90 ( I had it, once again I wanna buy it )and most importantly Nokia 6110, the last one mentioned looks awesome!!
