i have a htc touch P3450 every time i try to uptate windows from my phone it says connection to update server was not avaliable. check your data conections srttings and ensure the device date and time are correct

 

what should i do my phone has not been updated for the last 6 months

So it has FOTA updates? Its likely they have removed the servers as it's an old phone?

been using 5800 since launch........the spec are awesome but as shantz said it has got a lot of touchscreen issues...the os sucks....the music player interface is pathetic ....the camera sucks although the video recording is pretty good.......i wouldn't recommend it to anyone for sure....

are you sure there are updates available for your phone in the first place? check HTC site..

 

the htc site is sh*t i cant any usefull update about my phone there they seem to have forgoten htc touch gsm users and only care about the new costlier models

that is standard...anyways if you still want to "update", go xda-developers.com and flash a custom ROM

Dude, I really think you should go for a Corby because it's really nice. I just checked it out today only and it seemed great for a touch screen phone below 10k. You can also try going for the Sony Ericsson G700 which is 11k and has both touchscreen and keypad.
