Nemo Posted December 29, 2009 Report Share Posted December 29, 2009 (edited) of course its not a word by word gist, its a "funny" take on that i HAVE played both the gows, hell i have played all- ALL hack n slash games on ps2 that i could find in palika and i think i have covered almost all of them. Gow 1&2 were great great games but did not have the most engaging story line, well not for me. I know such a genre doesnt really need a story but blood omen-soul reaver saga was more engaging, just to give an example. Gow always had one of the best combats, great set pieces and lots of crazy enemies and are legends in gaming, YES but tell me one thing- what exactly we know about kratos apart from the fact that he is always pissed ? any back story ? We are into the 3rd game of the franchise, a game that is being touted as the best ever and i have no doubts over it. I only posted the above as i want the game to be the best in everything.. a little character building wont hurt. Dont ask me how cause i have no idea- otherwise i would be making the game. Its a welcome note that hints about his brother in 3rd game are thrown about. But the thing that is really sad is the amount of posts like- "OMG he has teh dante infern0 avatar.. he hates kratos" "he lieks inferno so he wants gow3 to fail" . Well these are bordering the ludicrous territory. I admit i have more anticipation for Dantes inferno and that is mainly cause of it being a new IP and the setting of hell. That being said i am almost sure that Gow3 will better DI in every department except maybe the setting- which is a subjective matter, varying from person to person. Just because i question the game's plot does not mean i hate it, i know its difficult to understand with the sea of trolls around but sometime people also give a critique for something they love only to see it being more improved. Very smooth transition between cutscenes and gameplay, can't tell the difference. Lots more gore. Lovin' it and don't think I'm gonna get bored of the demo anytime soon!
