God of War III

God of War Trilogy... that is what you have been asking for, right? Newbies to God of War, come in!

Not too long ago, sometime last year, Sony Santa Monica notified us of the stuff that'll be included in the Collector's Edition of God of War III. Surprisingly to most of us, the first two games weren't included (and it's not like every collector's edition of any game should include the prequels, but with God of War it just felt so right that not having them was just... unexpected and wrong).

Sony gave us a solution, though. God of War Collection - two awesome prequels, remastered in HD 720p. Many jumped on the boat, buying the collection, and so has Sony.

What is the right thing to do when you have two prequels adapted to the PS3 hardware, and the final game in the series releasing soon? Yes, release them all, in a marvelous Trilogy. Why buy them separately if you can get them all at once?

Find out how he got his scars.

Introducing: God of War Trilogy, unleashed upon Japan March 25th (not to be mistaken it with the "Ultimate Trilogy Edition", as that one contains far, far, more - all the games, soundtracks, postcards, skins, an arena... and will probably cost a LOT). Old Kratos - God of War, Current Kratos - God of War II, and Upcoming Kratos - God of War III will all put Japan under siege that day. And never mind the fact that God of War is not a huge seller in Japan, just a few is enough!

Those who only want Upcoming Kratos, can get him on the same day, too... all that according to Online retailer Geos E Shop. The release date was added in as part of a regular release schedule update at the retailer, and knowing the GoW III is due for March, along with Sony's famous leaks, makes the date pretty much true - expect an official announcement in the next few days.

Japan's date also points to Europe's and NA's - we should get the game a little bit earlier, as we always did.

okay ...then hoping it will be not more than $70 and it is fair enough if they put gow collection disc in that box with gow3 disc and price the trilogy for just $70. :)

It’s becoming somewhat of a catchphrase this. “Only possible on Playstation 3.” The latest game to adorn Sony’s self-acknowledged accolade is God Of War III.

According to comments made by Sony’s Claire Blackhouse to CVG, “The developers have worked hard to use the power of the PS3 to make GOW3 look amazing and have added features that are only possible with PS3.”

“The dynamic lighting solution employed in GOW III is only feasible through the computing power provided by the Cell SPUs.

“For example, using the High Dynamic Range Lighting (HDRL) technology, the camera – when using Krato’s sightline – will emulate the human retina, causing players to feel a sharp brightness when Kratos exits a dark area and enters a sunlit area, similar to how the human eye would need to adjust.”

I am tired of watching this type of articles "This is only possible on PS3 that is only possible on PS3". If 360 can run GeOW it can run anything.

Lol. Ironically that's what Epic n MS said when GeOW2 came out. That it was only possible on the 360. Somehing about 512 MB of RAM!
