Attention to detail is so meticulous it's virtually impossible to fault. 9.0 Sound Effects work and the sweeping orchestral score are immaculate, only let down by some occassionally wobbly voice-acting. 9.0 Gameplay It might be burdened with old-school sensibilities but subtle refinements and careful pacing give the game breathless momentum. 8.5 Lasting Appeal With around eight or so hours for a playthrough its not a huge game, but unlockables, challenges and well-judged difficulty levels give reason to replay. Anti-climax is a game like FF13, where reviews have been just 'good' and not 'spectacular'. Yeah FF XIII din't get highest ratings either Edge gave 5/10 can't believe they think it is that bad Never took them seriously anyways. Noctis Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) I wanted it to be on the Scale of GTA4 & MGS4 10's rocking all the house But getting 9's & 9.3's is what bursts the bubble for me The game is epic no one changes that,but BUT!!!!!! We haven't even played the game. 9+ means the game is epic, but not everyone might like it enough to give a 10. And btw, MGS4 metacritic is 94, same with GoW3 so far. Anyway chill guys, the overall reviews are pretty great and enough to convince anyone who might have been undecided.
