AtheK
Amanwa help stuck at when u drop to Hades at start, there is a forcefield with medusa how to go past it Just kill her and other enemies, the door should open(R1) and allow you to pass....maybe a glitch that you are not getting R1, try again from the checkpoint

MarketTantrik
WTF? After all that hype created by those of you who have completed the game about the ending, it turns out to be exactly what I expected. I dunno what the big deal is. Its satisfying because its what you would expect a man in Kratos' position to do. All those "balls of steel" and other comments made me expect an ending out of the left field, but it was nothing like that. All that hype But yes, the gameplay sequence just before the ending is one of the most unique experiences I've had. Very "Remedy"-ish
Solitaire
Come on, come on, don't talk about the ending people!

MarketTantrik
Assuming you get the game tomorrow, most of you will complete it by Monday or Tuesday latest.
MarketTantrik
I noticed a funny thing in the "Making of" video. I have subtitles enabled and whenever "God of War" or "Playstation" is mentioned, the subtitled text has the "R within a circle registered" appended to the end of the word. Oh ! and you should see the original vision for the Poseidon princess

MarketTantrik
Well, having completed it, I can truly say that this game is to the PS3 what GoW2 was to the PS2. A title that crowns the system and defines it. One of the best action games you'll play. On a comparison basis, Combat system: Bayonetta still has the best fighting combat system of any game to date including GoW3. But the brutality and seriousness of GoW3 lend a much bigger effect to each and every move Kratos makes. Extremely satisfying. Visuals: Some of the levels look outstanding and the set pieces are phenomenal. The titans are the best part of the environment. But there is a certain inconsistency about the visuals. Kratos himself is one of the best modeled characters ever in a video game, but most of the supporting cast havent received the same loving attention to detail in their modeling. The lighting engine is gorgeous, but on a technical level, its certainly not the best in the industry. What works for it though, is the outstanding level design that plays to each and every strength of the technology powering the engine. I would still rate UC2 above GoW3 in the overall visual quality department, but its a close run thing between the two games. Gameplay: Brutal gratification. No other word to explain it. Some levels are a drag on pacing, but overall, tight, precise and satisfying. Controls are fantastic. Boss fights range for good to ZOMFG!!!! The Hercules has become one of my favorite boss fights in gaming for its sheer brutality in the finishing. But, you aint seen nothing in gaming like the Cronos boss fight. Audio: Excellent soundtrack, but doesnt break any new grounds. Not necessarily a bad thing considering how good the previous two games' soundtracks were.
