Kazekage Gaara
Hi guys, Well, since most of you guys know, I live in Ulhasnagar City and the services from various ISPs over here are REALLY PATHETIC coz Sify and Tata provide their connection based on hub-to-hub architecture, so if one hub f**ks up, the whole network goes down , and trust me on this when I say, the hubs go down for a whole lot of reasons, for example, people f**king em up, power failures, modem failures, wire cuts, etc, etc Anyways, so this narrows my options down to BSNL Dataone (which is AWESOME) and the EVDO wireless modem from BSNL. The only problem with BSNL Dataone is that there is a 6 to 8 month waiting list I have already applied for this one and its gonna take a while. So my other option (till Dataone arrives) is the EVDO wireless modem. So what I wanna ask is....is this any good ? Does anyone over here have this ? What kinda TRANSFER SPEEDS do you get ? When I mean transfer speeds, I mean ACTUAL DOWNLOAD SPEEDS that shows up on your monitor. I checked out the BSNL's office here, and they turned out to be really dumb when it came to answering my questions . They just said that I'll get good speeds and thats it So...do any of you guys have this connection or know someone who has this connection ? Is it worth taking it ? Thanx a lot in advance for all the help.
Bulovski
Check this link out. If this is a data card the speeds will not be great - there will be fluctuations. I have used both Reliance and Airtel data cards and they are decent. There shouldn't be issues with browsing or downloading the Professor Layton puzzle at that speed I suppose.
