Its not, its going to look better than this by the time the game comes out. Also I think they just flipped the switch for fun, kinda like that Zelda tech demo on Wii U just to let people know that its running in real time.

But it wasn't running in real time. I think you meant in-engine :P

How do you know that? :P

What is the difference between real-time and non-real-time?

Something that is rendered in front of you while you play vs something pre-rendered and converted into video format

Real-time, the system is running everything right in front of you no CGI trickery, nothing. Just the engine with the specified hardware running the game.

Non-real-time / in-engine trailer, cutscene, although the content was done on the target hardware under the same specifications, it is now present in a canned state at the moment you are viewing it.

While we were going hands on with The Order 1886 at E3 2014, GamingBolt’s Leonid Melikov bumped into Naughty Dog’s Studio Coordinator Rodney Reece and Lead FX Artist Keith Guerrette. Although we were not able to conduct a full fledged interview with them, the duo were able to confirm a few interesting points about the trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

They confirmed to us that the Uncharted 4 trailer showcased during Sony’s E3 2014 press conference was a part of an actual level in game. Secondly, they also confirmed that the entire trailer was running in real time on the PlayStation 4 and it was all in-engine.

UNCHARTED 4 STAR THINKS 'IT'S THE LAST ONE'

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End may indeed be the final chapter in the franchise, according to the man behind Nathan Drake.

Speaking to IGN, Nolan North explained that as far as he's aware this is the last title that Naughty Dog want to do in the series, and admitted he hopes no one else tries to continue the story without the studio.

"It’s bittersweet but at a certain point you want to go out on top," North told me. "If this is the last one indeed, and I believe it’s the last one - nothing’s confirmed, but I believe it’s the last one Naughty Dog wants to do, in which case I hope somebody else doesn’t pick up the mantle because they’ve done it so well for so long - but yeah, it’s one of those things where you just have to cross that bridge when you get to it.

"I like the idea of going out on top so we better do a hell of a job with this one… and it’s already looking pretty good."

Uncharted 4 was officially announced earlier this week during Sony's E3 press conference, with early story details surfacing yesterday.

Naughty Dog now has The Last of Us directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley heading up Nathan Drake’s next journey.

Sony teased the next Uncharted game on the eve of PlayStation 4’s launch, so it seemed like Nathan Drake’s next adventure was coming along swimmingly at developer Naughty Dog. But behind the scenes, there have been some major shakeups for Uncharted 4, with writer Amy Hennig departing Naughty Dog unexpectedly earlier this year. Game director Justin Richmond followed shortly after.

My respect for ND would increase 10 fold if they make this the last UC game.

It takes a lot more to end a series then keeping on milking.....I am a huge fan of UC games which is why i want it to go at such high note that gamers generation to come will talk about this game.

Infact i am even okay if at some point they do complete new characters adventure...But end Nate's journey at high note.

ND is known for this....They have enough IPs that they have ended on a high instead of milking it. But what we do not know is how Sony might want to handle Uncharted. Spin-offs; like they did with Uncharted and God of War might happen; but they only diminish the legacy of a franchise IMO

Yeah but we dont know whats in store for the next to next gen. :P It could be completely VR with ultra realistic graphics. We might wanna enjoy our favorite games on that sytem then. Thus reboots will happen. For one fact that they are less risky. Sony knows that anything that has Uncharted in its name is a safe bet and will sell millions.
