Thats true.

 

Those epic banters,chats,etc wont be there which are big part of the game.Elena wont be there also then.So with Lara it wouldnt feel complete

Played  Madagascar Level.The Quietness,sense of WOW and chit chat between 3 is sooo good

However, the game slowly starts to drag way too much that it was no longer fun to play. The whole gameplay was brain dead. Excessive platforming & rails climbing that didn't require any skill or thinking was so lame and boring. It killed of adventure part and felt like a chore. 

 

The puzzles were terrible. The gunplay was limited and stealth was a joke. If you ignore the production value, which was spectacular, the game was just average. Okayish story and good characters. That's about it. 

 

Can't believe Tomb Raider (2013) was better than this and so was The Lost Legacy.

True that. The game started really well but ran out of steam midway. Certain levels were just plain boring. Felt like a snooze fest for most of the part. Set pieces were predictable. The same old wannabe Indiana Jones feel just didn't work this time.

I speculated the story to be like this after the first trailer and it was revealed that someone was casted as drakes brother..
I would have enjoyed the original vision more but didnt like the idea of playing half the game without shooting anyone..

Yeah I think the original storyline with Sam as an antagonist for the first part would have been great. I expected that as well. While I like the game, the internal studio  conflicts do reflect in the game. The best part is at least we know there won't be more Drake. I just think it was time to retire the character.

We need a new Siphon filter game. The last major one was Omega strain on ps2. Sony needs to give UC a break for a few years and work on a new Siphon filter game.

Reached chapter 13th and liking the game so far, went in with low expectations anyways.

Chapter 3-4 were so nostalgic, chapter 7,8,9 is where it started to get boring but picked up from chapter 10 onwards. I am still maintaining media black out on this, not even watched the trailers, so my jaw dropped when I reached Madagascar. Scotland missions were boring, but every mission so far visually is simply god-tier  Puzzles are fun too.

Would have been actually better if they had made it short than dragging it. Some levels were so boring and the repetitive platforming killed the leftover fun. Liked Lost Legacy more. It was on point with action and the pace. 

 

Visually it did look amazing though.

Yea, the troubled development is clearly noticeable. And I dint like that Assiassin Creed like stealth that they have copied. The best part of the game they had shown at E3, may be because there was nothing else worth showing.
