I highly doubt this game will be sized 50 gb .. with multiplayer and other numerous stuffs, and most of all it's next gen so probably this will go beyond 50 gb so perhaps it's time for 100 gb blu-rays or two 50 gb discs..

 

If they limit anywhere to put into a 50 gb discs then get ready for downgrades.

 

else put a major day-1 patch.

As of right now Neither PS4 nor XBone supports a 100gb bluray

Maybe in future updates

 

 

But UC4 is surely being developed with 50gb in mind

 

 

They simply can't afford to give away 10-15gb on pre-rendered stuff

There was a huge difference in visual fidelity between pre-rendered and in-engine cutscenes in The Last of Us on the PS4. And the transition from pre-rendered to in-engine was always jarring with a cut to black.

 

GTA 5 did the transitions perfectly and I think that's what they're going for in UC4

It is a known fact that ND games ( physical discs ) hang the system sometimes & Gives problems in MP .

 

Their Digital works flawless . Play with a group of 8 people every night . They can confirm this .

I believe it reads from disc as well as HDD . could be wrong though . but most of us who have discs have faced system hangs in TLOU MP & those with digital have not . Just sharing my experience . Same was the case with Uc3

It doesn't matter if you have disc or digital now

Both run from HDD after installation........exactly same coding

 

 

What Playstation means is bad for ppl who have to go through the Download of 60-70gb of data

while the game looks absolutely gorgeous from the gameplay video (esp the foliage movement look damn realistic), it can't be denied that the visuals are huge step down from the reveal trailer .... the reveal trailer was almost CGI quality ....

The gameplay they showed during PSX was in-game...and it definitely looks different than the CG reveal trailer for obvious reasons..
