At its core its an elaborate and artistic rpg with fairly descent turn based combat So it depends on taste and familiarity with rpgs nd theme, setting (japanese) When i started persona, i went in to have a good anime story experience with rpg elements, and was not dissapointed at all jrpgs and souls games both introduce a new dimension to your gaming exp, one not to be missed Edited February 4, 2022 by Modern_Ubermensch

Yes, totally worth it, be sure you are buying Persona 5 Royal though. All the characters are 10/10 ( except the meme painter boy ), combat is awesome and not boring or tedious like other turn based games, and the sound track is a total banger. Heaven Angel
Persona 5 Royal to Include All DLC for Xbox and Windows Releases. https://personacentral.com/p5r-dlc-xbox-windows-releases/ Quote Atlus has confirmed that the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows PC releases of Persona 5 Royal will include all previously released downloadable content for P5R. SuperT
1 minute ago, Mr. Comingle said: I doubt they'll increase the fps or anything honestly. Better to assume nothing unless they actually announce it. 60 fps wont really matter honestly, its a turn based rpg at the end of the day. It already runs at 4k on PS5 so I guess they will market it as a PS5 version with all the dlcs and that's about it.

I am going to buy it on Switch this time. Handheld is the way to go. Expect low FPS, screen tearing, jank and all other such stuff on Switch. P5R is not meant for Switch. Switch is not able to handle Shin Megami Tensei V properly. It's not going to be able to handle P5R - which is a far more demanding game. Frankly, if you've played on PS4 - I would just skip this version. Game dows not benefit from FPS much and if you've completed the game - there is no need for multiple play-throughs. That said, Atlus should have given a PS4 -> PS5 upgrade option. It's ridiculous that they don't. I think they are not expecting much customers for the PS5 version anyway, so any purchase over there is simply a bonus. Hence the full charge.

"No, we won't we give you free or paid upgrade path for game that you already own. That said, we'd love it if you bought it again for the PS5, instead of playing the PS4 version through back compat' Suck it Atlus, got P5R Deluxe on sale, will play that. I played P5S on switch and its an abysmal port. P5R is going to be the same or close to it.
