Tyler
I'm so tempted to buy this. Will this be good as a first game for someone who has never played jrpg. As in, will I be able to comprehend the mechanics? It looks too good to pass Sent from my ONE E1003 Yes, the Persona games are easy to pick up and teach you the mechanics rather well (and at a relaxed pace). The battle system is turn-based but isn't complicated at all. Definitely a good place to start.

CM Sunny
Read few of the reviews. Are they seriously docking points because the game doesn't have queer/gay characters and you can't romance males? Expected it from Polygon but even Eurogamer is going this route now. Jejaz halp. Walker
Haven't read any of the reviews but wtf? Why? Why can't a game be what it's supposed to be?
Ne0
I just might buy this to cash in on the 700 cash back offer .... JRPG could be a refreshing change after horizon !

roun90
The world is divided into 2 types of gamers. Those that have played persona and those that have not. Those that have love it. Those that haven't, haven't had the chance to love it. Truer words were never spoken Read few of the reviews. Are they seriously docking points because the game doesn't have queer/gay characters and you can't romance males? Expected it from Polygon but even Eurogamer is going this route now. Jejaz halp. Expected as much. These days American game reviewers are looking more into Gay/LGBT romances etc. They want these option in long as the game has romances at all, even if it might not match the creator's vision. Some people have pointed out there are positive LGBTQ people as well in the game. But that will be ignored because of no romances in said category and some fictional LGBT people being made fun of and denoted negatively. But it's great that even with this, they still gave it 9s and P5 has held onto it's 94 metacritic. Also the game is essentially a Japanese game, which is re-creating a Japanese city and showing the Japanese view of people. People buy such games because they love these unique views of devs whci make it into the game. This is the main reason why almost all the Japanese devs, who tried to "Westernize" their games to catch a more Western Audience failed miserably and also lost their own existing fans in the process. So kudos to Atlus for making the game they want to make, and not ruining it by pandering to what they or reviewers think "Westerners want". This is the reason I feel why games like Nier, Yakuza, etc. maintain and improve upon their quality. Can't wait to start playing and feel the joys of Persona and Japanese High School all over again (Bonus: It comes without the boring studying in real life parts, and is accessible to all, even if you are not in High School or even Japanese) April 4 just can't come soon enough. roun90
What is the download size for this? The Reviews :panic: Kitne game khareedenge ab saala Saala itna time hi nhi hai khelne ka As far As Japanese release was concerned, Persona 5 download size was 18.2 GB on PS4 and 16.1 GB on PS3 (Download size only; Installation required extra space) Source: http://personacentral.com/persona-5-will-18-2-gb-playstation-4-16-1-gb-playstation-3/ Will see the size on the English Versions As for your second point, it's almost as if Sony is saying "You must have been bored with 2014, 2015 and 2016 only having 1-2 games. Now we will give you the opportunity to give us your money every month in the year of 2017. So keep your wallets opened and at the ready." This game deserve a space on the desk. Played a couple of hours..mind blown. Will gladly spend more than 100 hours on this Yeah it is indeed beautiful. I had to pay a bit extra to get priority shipping but when I got the copy in hand, no regrets at all. The Production Value in this game is OFF THE CHARTS !!!!! As far as gameplay is concerned, I too have played few hours. As far as Persona games are concerned, it will be at least 15-16 hrs before the game completely opens up. But unlike P4, the beginning hours are engrossing and the 'Tutorial' (if i can call that) is quite organic to fit into the story seamlessly. Given my gaming hours, I will easily spend the rest of the year playing this. Will hopefully put some serious time into this game on Sunday. How did you guys get early copies? That steelbook looks gorgeous! I knew some seller from ebay, who can sometimes import games if he has access to them. When I came to know in Neogaf that early copies are quite rampant in US, I requested this guy and he said that he will look into the same. Turns out he delivered. Took some extra bucks for priority shipping.

Big Boss
So that cardboard characters draw distance thing, isn't that bothersome while playing?
R3D_D3ViL
So that cardboard characters draw distance thing, isn't that bothersome while playing? To be honest, P5 is not strong technically. Draw distance is not good. Frame rate hitches are noticeable. In dungeons the camera controls needs to be get used to. But the Art Direction is soooo good that these problems are really nitpicking in an otherwise really great game. Let these not put you off from playing P5. You would really miss out on infinitely good stuff that the game offers. And as the loading screen mentions...Take Your Time.
