Terrible Fups in mysore man.. Nothing good other than airtel.

:(

And I thought my area was bad.

After reading about the possible romance setups, i want to play it again but too busy at work to start it again. If i got to know Makoto well before committing to Tae, I wouldn't have done that.

Yep, that is why I took my time. Still, Tae is probably my second favorite.

How is the main cast this time around? Better than the previous one?

I personally like them better than the P4 group. Makoto, Futaba and Yusuke are the best! Also, Morgana is a much better mascot character than Teddie.

So, I finished the 7th Palace last night (spoiler thoughts)...

- The dungeon kind of dragged on with all the mouse corridor sections. It isn't bad but probably my least favorite palace so far. They definitely could have cut down some of the corridor sections. It was fun the first time, but the third time it got tiresome.

- Ann "Windsor" was hilarious.

- Liked the boss fight with Shido. It was easy but felt appropriately epic. His first few forms looked very cool. The rioded up version was a bit funny. I loved how he almost got up again after the third time, made me go - "just stay down!"... and thankfully, he did.

- The standout moment however was the showdown with Akechi. Great boss fight and VA before and after what happened. I liked what they did with his character.

Now I have a little under a month to finish up the remaining S-Links. I don't think I'll be able to do all though.

If you are at level 9 or so with confidants, then you might be able to do it. I maxxed out Tae, Ann, Ryuji, Makoto, Ohya, Yusuke, Futaba, Kawakami, and ofcourse the characters which maxout as game progresses.

I was seriously out of the league with current party when I reached near where Shido is so had to skipout and come back another day. Wasted a day which could have used for leveling up at least one more confidant.

I had to use a Soma for the last couple of fights but I managed it in one go. The hardest part of the 7th Palace for me was...

the Yakuza guy

As for the S-Links, many are at 9, and a few at 6/7. I had already maxed more than half before Palace 6.

Fought a

dick

quite literally in Mementos last night...

BTW for those who are just starting out, I highly recommend raising the Fortune Teller Confidant up as soon as you can. She's located in Shinjuku which you'll get access to as a part of the story eventually. At rank 7, her Affinity Reading allows you to increase affinity with any Confidant much faster than normal. I'm pretty much in the last month and with her help I'm still able to max out most of the Confidants which wouldn't have been possible normally. Even with that I still won't be able to max out Shinya, Sojiro, Iwai and Yoshida. Plus, Haru is still sitting at rank 1. Going to plan things better in the next playthrough... whenever that happens.

Overall I feel like the Fortune, Temperance, Star and Death confidants should be prioritized as they have the biggest impact on how much free time you can get as well as combat.

You'll have to import it, the game never got an official release here.

Also the game is less than 20 gig installed. You could try freeing up some space.

LOL and pray to god that you dont have to pay 42 percent import duty.. I have a bad feeling I will be charged duty for my game. 6k for a god damn game. Feel so guilty :|

@swap98

If you can travel to Thane (quite close to Mumbai), you can try Emart games shop in Korum Mall. A friend of mine had got the steelbook edition there. Price was 3999 but they gave it to him for 3600 (don't know whether they might do the same for you). Just call them up and ask whether they stilll have it in stock before coming.

And, finished!

96 hours, level 74, all social stats maxed except Guts, however I couldn't max out all S-Links.

What a game, and what a satisfying ending! So well done. This is not only the best game of this year so far but one of the best games ever made. I've played Persona 3, 4, 4 Golden and I have to say this is the best out of those. It got me completely invested in it's story and characters and I had a blast with the gameplay. It's also one of the most stylish games I've ever played. Everything from the presentation, to the music to the voice acting is top notch. It's also a very well written game and it's amazing how well the writing goes with the gameplay and the level design. This game has some of the best dungeon crawling experiences in gaming. Overall, if you like RPGs that completely draw you in and want something different from your typical open world busywork / iconfests, this is the game for you. It's a long game but it surely didn't feel like that at all. Like I said earlier, I've played games that were much shorter and yet felt like a massive chore to finish. Persona 5 is perfectly paced and structured, it never felt overwhelming and remained engaging till the very last minute.

Although it ends on a high note, it actually left me feeling very sad as it will probably be a long time before we get another Persona game. I'll surely look forward to a re-release with added content and will definitely play through it again.

Some spoiler thoughts on the ending/epilogue

Such a powerful, emotional, ending! Made me a little misty eyed while saying goodbyes to all my friends and confidants. Watching Sojiro quietly wipe off a tear after he puts on a brave face while sending you off was probably the most emotional moment for me. It's little touches like these that make characters in these games feel human.

I was also so sad (and happy) when Mona disappears only to show up again. I don't know but I loved that little guy thanks to the endearing voice work and his attitude.

All the romance scenes with Makoto were really sweet and suited her character and relationship with the MC so well.

The best part of the ending however and the one that made me feel really happy after all the emotional stuff was when the gang shows up to drive you home. I really hope that they all remain a group after the ending.

Another nice touch was that the Phan-site counter remains at 50% at the end. This means that while some people believe that the Phantom Thieves were real and they saved them others still continue to remain oblivious. This is exactly how things would go down if something like this ever happens in reality.

There's a good chance we'll see a FES/Golden-style re-release with extra content. I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I don't care for rhythm/fighting game spin-offs though.

And yeah I'm having severe withdrawal symptoms...

Also why isn't the OST available on Indian iTunes (or any other service that's available in India)? I want it so bad!

Because Atlus.

Yeah, mad withdrawal symptoms here too. Also a strange urge for pancakes.

Hehe...

the size of Dome Town?

Persona games always give me a hankering for ramen and sushi.
