I did try on merciless but it was of no use as joker was getting his a*s kicked so easily 

But Ya i did what @SuperT mentioned on normal mode 

Actually green bots weren't an.issue at all for me....was able to beat them easily....it was only the executive director who was a PITA. Switched out makoto with haru and was able to kill him thanks to her triple shot.....kept spamming that as much as i could 

 

Regardless though......they've messed up that boss fight when compared to the base game.

One doubt

I'm playing this game on my US account. This is an Indian disc i assume. So i wont be getting the dynamic themes via email? :(

I'm now in the 6th castle and yet to receive an email from Playstation for free themes/avatars etc.

 

I did play HZD, Spiderman, etc on my US account using Indian/UK discs and yet i got dynamic themes, avatars etc from PS....yet for this game i havent received anything so far

 

Playing this game on my US account as its my main account and i intend to plat this on my main account itself.

I don't think US accounts are eligible. The promotion is for EU accts I believe which includes IN as well.

you can get it according to reddit....just need to contact PS support i guess

 

there are a few other reddit threads like these and US accounts people have got it afaik

They should have made it open to everyone ...pretty stupid to limit it just to the EU

Yup, most probably no themes for you. If you had brought the US version, then you would have received the themes. But since you are using the Indian version, the game will not even record you receiving the trophy. Shame too. The themes were not just "Congratz here you go" Themes, but ones which were specifically designed for fans, made as awesome as possible, and was charged for in Japan.

 

Claiming US themes is a mess. Many people had to actually contact PSN support and prove they had actually got the trophies in question with screenshots, not just uploaded it and have it mailed like EU. Don't think PSN US Support is going to entertain  your EU Version of the game. I think US Atlus/Playstation did not even want to run the promo. They just had to after the stink fans raised due to EU Players getting it. Most probably, your choices now are to play it again in Indian/EU account or buy the themes with real money from JPN PSN (you will not be able to use the associated avatars though as that is locked to the purchasing account I think).

 

As a last try, ensure your trophies are synced and check your email's promotion/spam tab. If it's not there, then bad luck. You can try to explain to PSN US/EU Support if you want though. Benefit for you is - since US PSN is your main account, those trophies will now count towards your overall level on your US PSN main account.

oh ya all these are done..its not there in the promos tab..ill contact US PSN support once i plat the game.

 

Sony should allow region change of accounts ...i made this account back in 2008/09,.....couldnt switch to an Indian account due to the trophies :P

lets see....hopefully PS chat gives the codes ...if not ....feelsbadman :/

Great!! When the game was launched, it was only for EU folks which as you said doesn't make any sense.

Completed the game in 115 hours and got the plat at the same time :D

Such a fun last palace (and depressing as well :(). The story of the new palace is really something and unlike any of the other palaces in the game.

Regardless though if anyone hasn't played the base game must try Persona 5 Royal.

Great, now try to get the in-game rewards and also beat the 2-3 new optional bosses in NG+. That's where your main challenge is going to come from. Plat of P5R was made deliberately easier to give out the themes to everyone. It's no challenge. Plat of Base P5 was much harder. And getting the in-game awards of P5R is harder still.

Did you check the "Promotions" Tab or "Spam" Tab in your registered email? It will not be there in your normal inbox. The pre-requisite (If you purchased from Indian Account), is to have played on your Indian account though.

I am assuming you guys played with an Indian account? Atlus promptly sent it across for me, @roun90 and couple of my friends.

Nah i played on my main US account using an Indian disc. Its ok i shall try contacting PS support once...if they dont give ...cant do anything anyways :)
