It's just an acquired taste Very old school with spaced out checkpoints and massive frustration. Also: Flipkart just shipped my PC copy.. Gameplay is the weakest part of Alien Isolation according to the reviewers... The game is slow-burning, its not everyone's cup of tea but I like it. Havent played it pass the 1 hour marl (spent quite some time taking screenshots ) so cant comment on how good the gameplay it. Reviewers can go get face-hugged. The only people I trust on games are the fine folks on IVG (not the trolls) and a few others. Havent read a review for any game for years now (apart from the IVG ones). My purchase decisions depend on what I think I'd like to play and not reviews or Metacritic or Digital Foundry. Ya Dig?
