xenophon Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 just curious, any of you playing with girl sheaperd as the main character (main as in first playthrough) I did find it a bit strange that in all trailers, spots etc they never once did show a jane sheaperd. jane sheppard is not canon. thats why you don't see her on the box art as well. Tyler Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 The game is seriously good and yes, it tops the first game despite the trimmed-down traditional RPG elements . All the "team mate" quests are so well designed, they're like little stories in themselves. And Bioware has once again proven that they are the masters of writing and character development in video games. Every character is so carefully written and it's hard not to like them. It shows 36% (in the ammo indicator) and nothing happens when I try to shoot. What am I missing? The description says that it's a nuke launcher and I wanna use it so badly! gonekrazy3000 Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 @Tyler:- The Cain is friggin amazing. but i think you need atleast 100% ammo to fire a single shot (my ammo depleted from 139% to 39% after i fired it). it can pretty much vaporize anything that has its shields down. heck. i dont think the shields even matter. i took out 2 of those collector dropship like bosses with a single shot D= not to mention vaporized every drone and the harbringer in the area.... P.s:- Am i the only one playing as a femshep renegade vanguard ? ( i figured if i'm gonna stare at a characters a** for 30+ hours i might as well make it a female char XD ) Also..... MASSIVE SPOILER. Anyway, right now I find myself using the Collector Beam a lot. Very handy while taking out multiple enemies quickly. The combat is quite easy on Normal anyway. Can't wait to play it on a harder difficulty on my next playthrough. BTW, I'm playing as a Vanguard too. Male/Renegade. It's so much fun to crash headfirst into enemies and send them flying!
